I loved this so much that I printed it out: "There is nothing more powerful than a being that knows itself and so as you cultivate your ability to sit inside yourself to embody all that you are, to take out everything you are hiding and look at it and deal with it and resolve it and love it and transform it or hold it you naturally attract the synchronic events that are in alignment with the truth of who you are and so that allows you to not struggle and work, it’s more of a relaxation into being, the more I can relax and be who I am and suddenly the universe just floats by with a silver platter and you’re like “oh yes, I’ll have that order, thank you very much”.
I think she's a control freak. Sorry, have been watching this podcast since it began and everytime she appears as some kind of hindu goddess; last time it was the goddess of non cheese, she berates him for watching tv or something. Sorry, love the guy i'm with feel sorry for rich roll.
Julie 's conversation about a cleansing ritual before meditation reminded me of the Muslim ritual before prayer. They wash face, hands & feet, in addition they always wash the area after a bathroom visit, so they are always cleansed before prayer.
The drive to ritualize emerges from within spontaneously when you get centered for a sustained period of time --- when you purify yourself sufficiently physically, mentally, spiritually. And I personally have found that the most powerful, and meaningful, rituals are the ones that just emerge. And I don't mean because you read a book that told you to ritualize, or viewed a video that prescribed rituals for you.
@@HomeAtLast501 Absolutely agree, the more aligned we are the more we will feel the urge to create rituals or do give thanks and or gratitude...nothing is forced or performative,it comes from the deepest most genuine place possible...I wish more people could get this in a world that seems so seduced by appearances and looking as if.
I have the same intractable headache/migraine problem that I've tried everything to fix, just like Julie! It's gotten worse lately, and I'm now seeing it as an emotional issue, dating back to childhood trauma that I've not wanted to look at. I think I've been creating physical pain as a substitute for the real pain, which is in my heart and I'm scared to feel.
Julie really resembles a long time close friend also who suffers migraines. Diane had a traumatic childhood and lost two sisters way too young. Thesd two make such a beautiful couple!
THIS! I dont suffer from migraines BUT, I understand that we create illness and dis-ease in our bodies as a result of unhealed traumas. Just found out that I’ve been running away from trauma my whole life and it isn’t until I stop eating it, shopping it and podcasting it away that I’ll truly allow myself and my body to heal. 🤍 Happy healing, dear!
I love your evolution, Julie, you are now owning your power as a seer. I so respect what you are doing! You have helped me see potential for recognizing truth within myself. I’m shining the light on several things...
Julie is a very different person to my normal go-to, but absolutely beautiful. She has great wisdom and a wonderful way of reframing things and bringing it back to what's important at the core. I also love the relationship between these two very different but very connected humans. You truly live by your wedding vows
Some of you can’t see past your own traumas that you immediately judge this woman for the path life that was given to her. People are so far deep in their mess that they can’t even fathom this type of freedom. I’ve had my struggles in life. Too many, in fact. Yet, I am so inspired by her desire to innerstand that life happens for your greater good. Some people have to reach the pits of hell to get to heaven. I wish you healing, in this lifetime 🤍
I'm so glad I found this channel. I learned a lot from Rich Roll and Julie Piatt..a beautiful and intelligent lady. I hear conversation in people like them and I could listen to them for hours and feel much smarter🙂. I just wish I could retain whatever wisdom I have learned from them.
Amazing energy in this woman -- both strong and warm at the same time and extremely wise too. I have always liked Rich Roll and now I like him even more just because of how amazing his wife is!
Can’t wait to listen to this in my long-run today. Have been late to the party on your podcasts Rich, having only started listening a few months ago, but have loved every one so far. There’s always a golden nugget of info to take into my own life/training. Thank you and keep up the great work!
It's great to hear someone state not to know anything and instead focuses on presence. But a few minutes later to claim having had past lives, a soul, etc. doesnt go too well together imo. I love your show Rich because of your objectivity and capacity for critical thinking.
I really loved how authentically you shared your life and practices, Julie! Whether you agree with her , with them or with their lifestyle or not is really not the point. If this doesn’t seem normal to you, what about the current state of pandemic, mass killings and dog eats dog world does? It is about time we explore new ways of living - ones that actually bring more peace and harmony to us and our world. If this woman is talking about her personal stringent practices please also note that she has 6 kids, businesses and is probably more busy than most of us commenting here (me included) - she has every right to be cynical , hard nosed and above all ‘practical’ but that is not what she chose. It is apparent that what she is doing is serving her well : her skin glows, her words soothe and her presence is peaceful and interestingly, reminds me of the misty fog atop mountains. To me that presence is goals - no matter how she gets there. We should please try to get to half the level of inner and outer success as she has before judging her. When we judge/“cancel’, we automatically shut ourselves to the possibilities. I love the variety in Rich’s content - it challenges me and sometimes just sits well with me. Blessings and only love to all! We all came here because we love goodness after all. ❤️🙏🏻💕
OR...maybe the Emperor has no clothes? People shouldn't be made to feel bad just because they don't agree with this. They are uniquely privileged and surrounded by others that are uniquely privileged. They exist in a very small microcosm of society and perhaps have some sort of blinders on due to it. I just got back from the slums of Medellin where I supported myself with credit cards to try and help the people there learn English so they can potentially get jobs in the tourism industry. I feel so fortunate to have the ability to do stuff like that. Maybe constantly looking "within" isn't the answer? Maybe helping others is? And by "others" I don't mean people that can afford retreats and nut cheese. I doubt Julie has tried a completely selfless approach to life, and maybe that's what stands in the way of her headache relief, speaking metaphysically.
@@phatmonkey11 you clearly dont know her life story to be throwing judgment and to say they are privileged. Go find out about their hurdles and dont assume the grass is greener. We all have phases and struggles and this couple is no different. I love Julie for the open mind and different prospective. I always learn from her. Maybe you should look a little closer and learn from her too. Kudos to you for helping others. I live in Zimbabwe and I do the same everyday. Some want to be helped but some dont give a sh** and just want to keep doing what they've always done... chop trees, burn wood, marry minor girls, have 5 kids each. In that case working on myself is my way to help the collective. We cannot all help people that dont want to be helped. Like you, shutting Julie down without seeing value on what she brings to the table.
@@phatmonkey11 Thank you. I'm sorry but I;ve disliked this woman from the beginning and tried to find something wrong in myself; I just gave up and decided Rich Roll is in thrall to an asshole.
@@flaviam4111 I gave you a thumbs up because I see your point of view but I don't see your Julie whom you love doing anything that will disturb that perfect blowdry and yes she's had 3 husbands one of whom was abusive and what did Rich Roll get last time around? He watched too much tv and wasn't spiritual enough. You marry her. She's a control freak do you guys get it or not?????? It's fucking with the podcast.
@@evelynbaron2004 if being a mum of 4, wife, author of cook book, biz owner of many enterprises while dealing with what life throws at you is not doing enough? Then you live in la-la land. Good for her the hair is well blown dried. Even more points for Julia. I find very bizarre how women throw rocks at other women. We are repressed for generations and you see one of us getting ahead you assume she is rich and had it easy. F**k! Please, please really look around. We are all fighting together to be heard, to get ahead, for whats rights and fair. Helping and admiring each other should be an easier path.
You both are beautiful souls! Thank you for everything that you do! I love listening to your podcasts. Your voice is so calming that it calms and focus' me during my most erratic moments. And you are great interviewer, which brings out the best of your guests and topics.
So lucky -or should I say you stepped into the path of destiny - to have each other. What a beautiful compliment to each personality you both are. Happy trails of course 😊
Haha, I was waiting for a new podcast with Julie 😄so in couple of last days I started to relisten those from the past. Very delighted to find the latest, the newest today xx I love the conversations between you two and I admire strong feminine energy. Thank you 🙏
SriMu is coming to Canada?! I'm so happy to hear this! I would love a podcast episode on past-life trauma healing, btw. If anyone has recommendations on resources, I would be thankful for those suggestions.
Looking forward to when SriMu is available in Canada :) Let us know when it is please Rich :) Edit: LOL at Rich when you start eating it while she talks 😂
Dude, your wife is awesome! You lucky bastard ( use British accent!) I really enjoyed the conversation, and I have been employing the “self love “ approach to life and just follow your passion and let the one you love do the same.. magic! Great show!
Damanhur: I spent a week there, teaching Earth Art + Architecture. Amazing Temples of Humankind. I love Damanhur, in Valchiusella Valley, Turin, Italy.
With you being so organized in all the show notes, found it strange that you did not have a link for the temples of Damhur? Julius says the URL so quickly Had to keep rewinding several times
I absolutely loved and enjoyed this engaging conversation. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, personal lessons and valued pieces of your life journey this far....
What a beautiful conversation! Thank you for your insights and inspiration. I tried Sri Mu for the first time two months ago and I was delightfully blown away with the taste, the quality and beauty of the entire product made as only a high consciousness company can create.
Julie’s top seemed to be in alignment with some of the discussion about sexuality. It’s just an observation, no judgement. We all follow our own path, and Rich’s path leads to a tent to sleep in. That’s cool as long as they have visits.
I think he mentioned in an earlier podcast he elected to sleep in a tent because sleeping outdoors was the only thing that cured his chronic insomnia. I am sure they have plenty of sex lol, possibly even with each other 😉
“We can’t be our own healer” alongside the symptoms of chronic pain. Maybe this belief is worth another look? Empowerment is to realize ones limitless potential.
Julie I was just wondering about your headaches. can imagine how painful it must be. Sorry for that. Do you use incense? I used to use indian and japanese incense a lot before for many years. If so maybe it could be one of the causes of your headaches? I don't know
I am having a conversation with another man about short comings and take the position there are no shortcomings just different perspectives ... if anyone has an ideaabout my position pkease comment .
For not carrying about the stuff she believes in, you are putting allot if energy in letting your comment under her podcast episode. Why don’t you just skip to another episode?
@@l.lalala3455 oh well, "lala"... I've said worse comments than this. How bout coming at me an actual refutle. Is refutle a word? Lol Moral of the story: don't take anything too seriously.
@@VeganChiefWarrior Travel back in time and try to create the field of unconditional love and compassion that would have stopped the Nazis and changed the course of history. Even after the war, we couldn't rely on a field of unconditional love and compassion to create conditions in Germany that would deter what happened from happening again. We couldn't trust that they would be responsive to such. So we had to bestow upon them lots of judgment to effect change.
Rich, I love listening to your podcasts & you are one special podcaster who always has this zen energy, now I feel that maybe it is an extension of being in the same house with Julie!!
