as a new fan, it's so nice to see these two still together making music. it's rather rare for people with jazz background to hang together that long. in this case it really brings out the magic, they sound so unique and locked in. you don't get that kind of mojo from a project band where people barely know each other. love it

It helps when you're not making derivative jazz funk that is in vogue nowadays. When you don't have to compete for an audience, people stick around. There's no one else (that I have heard, anyway) making Louis' brand of jazztronica. It also helps that he's pretty good at every instrument he picks up and just about excellent at drumming. I mean, from one of their very first songs like Window Shop to their newest Do Hot Girls Like Chords, that's a KNOWER special.

OMG! OMG! OMG! The hair on my arms is standing up! I am old enough to be their parents but a HUGE Pomplamoose Fan:-). Thanks Jack Conte for intoducing us to these guys. I was brought up in the 60s and I am so excited that I am still around to relish this great new genre. We are so honored. Thanks for the music :-)) and yea I am buying all of this music (who couldn't?!)

Everything about this is better than the original. Genevieve is a much better singer, first and foremost. The backing track is way more intense, and more interesting. The faster tempo is an improvement. The Phil Selway-ish drums are killer. The organ and keyboard parts are awesome. The bridge and drum fill bringing the chorus back in are amazing. And Genevieve's cool, flat delivery makes this version WAY sexier than Britney's.

Ok, this is really great - seriously, the music accompaniment is wonderful. One thing I will say that Britney adds to this song is her throaty "sexy" voice. You are wonderful, it just needs a little more sultry. (For me anyway, and who am I? I did no work save to critique something you had the good grace to post for free!) Anyway, keep up the good work!

I LOVE this rendition. The synth stabs and bass are PERFECT, and the drums flawless (as usual). I have absolutely no idea what's up with the cat though.

well, they do say it's inspired from Jack Conte's and Pomplamoose's style. I remember Louis Cole drumming for jack in a song ... ( I think it was Passenger Seat ) i think it's great that people are experimenting like Jack, it makes more songs interresting. Covers nowadays aren't all that creative.
