i think he has said that SM once told him that he can do anything, and they wont forbid heechul anymore.. he can choose what show he want.. they will support whatever his decision is

And also it's because he used to smoke when he was younger. He said before on a show that he started smoking at around 6th grade or somewhere around that time. He quit afterwards but he regrets it because smoking at such a young age messed up his tongue so now he's extremely sensitive to hot foods. I guess he's just trying to care for them in his own way.

I only watched a few episodes (parts, rather) from this show and I love how it was explained at the end of the video why he kept making those jokes. I was so lost. As expected, Heechul makes every show interesting and funny. And the other members too. Even though I don't know any of them, they seem like a fun cast.

it doesnt, but some fans doesnt really like their bias to smoke because they see idols like "role model" some more, if it's female celebrities, people certainly would talk bad about it.. that's why most celebrities smoke discreetly..

He used to smoke way back then... I used a tomates cut in half tell my friend that (used to smoke )when I describe what it look like after they are done !!! They quit !! Thank god I can not stand that ugly smell.!!!!

It’s a little late but he says these jokes to men as well. He used to smoke when he was younger and says it’s one of the things he regrets the most in his life, so he says these jokes to try and promote anti smoking. He’s now the anti smoking ambassador :)
