when heechul said "why am I being nice come on make me look bad" it just hit me... all those who hate him cause of his extra attitude should know how real and genuine he is.
When you're thrown into work like that, it definitely takes a toll. Idols now still don't have it easy but it really isn't anything compared to back then. I'm really happy that Heechul, Leeteuk and the rest of our boys managed to last this long even with all these hardships. The unbelievable work schedule with barely any food or sleep is already enough to drive one crazy, I can't imagine having to go through that AND half the shitstorm that SJ faced. So proud of the boys of making it this far. They deserve all that they have now and more.
ishipthatfishycouple true but heechul was the first active one. He was in a drama before suju actually debuts and he was the 1st. In suju who experienced everything variety drama photoshoots djing mcing honestly they say he was a hot headed boy who would only do harm to the team but he actually was the one who promoted their team he was so active and thou his members dont understand i somehow salutr him for not having grudge given in his place i might be salty with my members but he actually understand them. He is seriously misunderstood they only see negtive attitude of him but didnt really kniw the whole story. This is why i love heechul and i think why he is loved. Im glad his image has gone for the better. Times has been good how
I'm not a SuJu fan, but recently have become a Heechul one. I have been a kpop fan for 7 years (gosh I sound old!) and watched him grow from an immature young man to a respectable man. Watching Knowing bros and hearing him talk about the past and how far he's come along and have learned, is admirable. Plus he treats woman and his colleagues well. Very loyal.
It was painful to watch Heechul be so down all the time (and then when Hangeng left there was the other time period when he just didn't seem to care about anything) i'm so so thankful that he seems genuinely happy these days and i hope he gets enough rest now 💞 stay happy and healthy
Overworking, underpaid, ridiculous schedule and having to deal with shitty humanity daily on work life is what most if not every korean celebrities have to go through in their early years. Good advice for the young Gfriend right there Kim Heechul
all the members of super junior at there early days debut, heechul is the busiet member, next to leetuk, kangin kibum, they have a mini series, drama, and all members heechul is one of guest suddenly made a host and cast.. ncoz of his wity and bubbly personality and talent.. so as newbie heechul tried all that role dispite of all hardness and his rebellious... im so proud of him.. its the reason why LSM love him, his so passionate in his work..
I'm not entirely sure it has changed much, sadly. When SinB fainted last year, they were apparently running on one hour of sleep per day according to what Korean buddies who'd been following all of their activities that week estimated. Even the music shows are filmed at ungodly hours and they have to go to the salon before all of that and practice until late at night after all their other schedules. Seungri once said that he saw EXO passed out in their dressing room and Hyoyeon said SNSD spent most of the time sleeping in theirs. A vlogger commented in a video backstage at Music Bank that he saw members of TWICE being carried off stage because they fainted. People sometimes comment how cute it is to see idols sleep in the dressing room but it's probably the only time they actually get to sleep. Red Velvet said they didn't get to sleep at all during Red Flavor promotions in the beginning, after about three weeks of promoting they said they now got one or two hours per day. I think if you're a senior idol like SNSD or Super Junior, you might get some leeway in choosing when your events/pre-recordings take place so that you don't have to go to the hair salon at 2 in the morning but younger and not-so-successful groups unfortunately don't have a choice.
^Ok like.. this is deadass abuse. There is absolutely no word to use but that. It should have laws against that, I can't believe they don't yet.. If they don't put limits to it, it will never end.
It's sad to know that he had to do all of that. But I think what I found worse was the fact that those celebrities around him didn't tell him to slow down and do less shows. Sure cheering him up is nice, but its really damaging to the body, especially since he hated doing everything. Nonetheless I'm proud he's not like that anymore.
i know that feeling, when you dont get enough sleep or just not sleep at all, it feels like u want to beat your self or someone else. and coz i cant just beat people for no reason, i often just beat myself by slapping my face or my head. hahaa...
