I tried bark of different types, mineral substrates in many variations - orchids did not take root during transplantation and died, sometimes in large batches at one time, and no chemicals helped to avoid this, it was a pity to lose them from mold and bacterial rot. Now i use only this growing way for orchids of phalaenopsis and similar variety.
