I srarted eating grubs when I honey got nerfed and the grubs spawned automatically. I switched to an all-grub diet when I learned that grubs give food and water while avoiding storage lagg.

I love it when people do that stuff on servers. Other people call it toxic, but I think it's hilarious. I'm always a solo. 100%, and mostly keep to myself but sometime I can't help but to prank people, by parking a sabre at each desert spawn or surround an oblesk with them. I'd love to watch people try and work out how to survive the challenges but I don't have the patience to sit there and wait.

nah ive owned that keyhole base and yeah drawbridges can be used to mesh but they are the strongest door in the game to use at a keyhole. if there is someone inside repairing it, its almost impossible to online raid a keyhole unless the repair guy messes up somehow.

@@Big-Government-Is-The-Problem Yeah ofcourse you should use a drawbridge at the keyhole, but I'm talking about the raid base that was outside of it. (at 6:52)

I feel reporting would do nothing. Last time i played we had 7ish groups(around 30 people) report a group for blocking all brimstone spawns and most if not all iron spawns. If you wanted to farm up anything you had to clear some brimstone spawns first just so you would be able to have some bombs for the next run. They also had the entire eastern area blocked off with black ice and reports did nothing

My favorite part was the dude that wouldn’t even dare to get off his horse🤣 2 man with thralls could barely handle a naked guy🤣

@@ceronesthes I had my normal Easter Barracks Bunker double dosed. A mitra and a Yog abotu 10 minutes apart, followed by bombs. I was of course offline. The base normally requires 800+ bombs to enter and I'm pretty relaxed about how long people would take to break in. I once had a 7 member clan bombing my way in on a variant design. This one was 1000 bomb entry. Took them three days with me offline to get in. So, this particular clan nukes me twice the bombs the rest of the way in. That design needed 1100 bombs to get it, so I was doubtful that anyone could even pull it off in a raid window. Yeah, they took everything and ruined about 80% of all the stacking. It was an epic struggle but I rebuilt when they weren't looking as they missed my rebuild chest. NOTE : I had watched your god defense vid and had the whole roof covered with landmines under roof caps... I'm pretty sure they hit one and my mines chain reacted. Serves me right.. fool. I didn't even have a yog temple inside so would have looked pretty juicy. Very few people have the patience for bomb in to a solos base with 1100 bombs.

@@nathanielacton3768 1100 bombs? How huge is the base you have? It can't be a cave right? Caves take quad damage don't they? So how big was your place? Where?

@@LTPRD-id3ch Eastern barracks basement level. I occupy 4 blocks against the back wall, if placed correctly gives you 3 stories. Plenty of space for almost everything. I used Aureilo fence stacking which nets 6 layers per cube. I have layers from near that back wall all the way out to the front steps, and change orentation of the fences one we get out to the stars as needed. I only extend the stacking up enough to block people who want to rolls bombs of the stair rails. Each fence foundation needs about 10 bombs (averaged), so thats 110 layers. 120 layers is about the best you can do while remaining compact. There are some relevelling tricks you also need to do if you want more than that without space lost to adjust heights. The easiest way in is to start with multiple god attacks then finish it off with bombs. I've had other break in with a few hours of poison+explosive arrows but I have hours to notice and midnight stuff out. It's not invulnerable, is only about 3k pieces, causes no lag. It's just not worth the effort to try and raid a solo if you have to put that much effort it. The payoff is always going to be too low. NOTE : As of 2.8 this base can no longer be built and unless attacker arrow in I can't repair it either. It still exists in an official but is now a relic waiting to die on the next raid that damages it.

Hitting other peoples raided bases for junk loot is always a good start. I found someone building out their base once, and helped myself to his stuff as I passed by. My technique (certainly not the best but just mine) is to run straight to sep upon spawn. Grab a bunch of eggs and a waterskin and some aloe along the way. I usually cut through past the sewers. Once at sep I loop the chests for steel, weapons and starter armour. I prefer to keep looping until I get a pickaxe You get a lot of thick leather there as well. Then run back to the jungle\swamp and kill birds. If I find an open armourers bench along the way I make some khitan armour. Once at the jungle I hide a box and go kill birds at first, then hit the gorillas as well. Very quickly you end up being able to get blunted arrows and can collect a teimos. Cook him up in some bizzare location with fingers crossed. Make sure he completes at some obtuse time of day so you can get him when nobody else can cause problems for you. Set an alarm. Next day is pure grind. Jungle\swamp loops. Birds, greys and gorillas. By the time you are 60, the teimos will be L20 as well. If I'm bored waiting for the respawns I hit the queen which gives practically a level by herself. There are always some cheesy 'build 100 chests' type tricks, but every few months the technique gets nerfed and you have to come up with a new one. My technique continues to work well for each new server without having to research whats being nerfed. Someone else I saw does it very differently. They head up to mounds, kill the bear at argarth for legendary daggers and heads off to kill cimmerians. There are many paths you can take, and most of them depend on how efficient you are at knowing exactly what to do and being able to do it without much effort or thinking. In my technique you just need to start killing without wasting time setting up much of a base. If you need iron for armour epairs, better to sprint in to npc bases and rip off chests and run off 'SanFran' shopping style. My idea is that you get to steel weapons quickly by just collecting them at sep. Then sit on steel weapons until you around 60 and can jump to starmetal. From there there many paths. I usually do something tricky at that point and take a big pile of stolen steel from sep (second loop) and do the volcano for obsidian tools. Once under the volcano many of the mob drop obsidian tools and weapons which are really nice free stuff. You only get a little composite doing this, a few hundred maybe but you collect heaps of weapons\tools for free. Also, use a dismantling bench and you can farm less early on. It feels like 2 different games. Before 60 and after 60.

@@FrozenSlug Yeah all their stuff is gone, though I've been told there's chinese hackers on the server now to replace them so I dunno about being too eager to return lol, I haven't been on it in a few weeks though so I can't say for sure
