Knowles Creek Impoundment First Lookout 

Knowles Creek Impoundment was once a Ducks Unlimited wetland project. Just 10 miles east of Wabeno WI on Knowles Creek Rd. The water level changes over the years. You will find open water, marsh, fern fields and forests. Wildlife is healthy with many species including owls, hawks, eagles, loons, and waterfowl. There is an easy 0.75-mile hiking trail with several lookout points. This view is from the first lookout point on the short hike.
