can't wait for the sonic movie 3 and knuckles show I'm praying it will be awesome and they don't ruin the characters or lore. PS i think i know what is happening with the character pachacamac. A youtuber named Vindo mentions a movie called "The Big Lebowski" where the main character in the movie gets knocked out and has a dream sequence where he is talking to a bowling alley merchant. the backgrounds for that film and this show are too similar of being a cabinet full of bowling shoes. so, I think knuckles will get knocked out in one of his fights at the bowling alley and in his dream, he converses with pachacmac to get some kind of wisdom while he looks like one of the bowling alleys employees.
@@UnifiedEntity. Why? Appearently the only way people expect knuckles to be nowdays is As the gaston of Sonic, completely forgetting that in spite of the marketing, he never lived up to the hype. He has never been able to take on Sonic,eggman constantly tricked him, and the only legitemately badass thing he did in his debute(nautralising sonic's super form), not only happened in a cutscene, but he never repeated it or done something simular!
@@erikbihari3625 I expect Knuckles to not be a dumbass(Sonic Boom) or an awkward discount Asgardian Thor when talking(The live action m. Look up Knuckles animated segment from Sonic Frontiers, or him in Sonic X, or even the older Sonic OVAs. And they have literally fought in Sonic X.
I really like Knuckles’ design in this. He doesn’t look so perpetually angry all the time in the way they eased his eyebrows and allow him to smile. The same thing was definitely done in Drone Home, although I guess that was fully animated
It's like in the games. At first Knuckles was lonely, serious and stoic, then in SA2 he became more laid-back. His character arc ends in Sonic Heroes where he drops the whole "warrior pride" thing and starts to hang out with Sonic and Tails.
@@Thaumiel98 I think he’ll have the same arc in this. In the beginning he’s all searching for “vengeance” and battles whilst training Wade and in the end he learns his true place is with Sonic Tails and the Wachowskis
The thing I was most afraid about this show was the comedy. When the focus of a spin-off is on the funniest character of the previous installment and a comedy relief character, normally it doesn't end well. But the jokes so far are as funny as the 2nd movie
Maybe it’s his design slowly turning into a more modern or adventure Sonic for the third movie? Since the 1st and 2nd movie took place around the classic era of Sonic games they probably make him slightly older and such for the third movie? That’s just my theory… a game theory
*I know a lot of people get sick of the human characters in things like this, but I actually like seeing the Sonic characters interact with the real world, And the humans reacting to their presence.* Having these sort of alien-like creatures fit into a regular Society I always found pretty neat 👍
As an avid Knuckles fan, this really warms my soul. After all of the missfires, lawsuits, and carelessness, we are finally getting quality characterization. ♡
It’s great to see Knuckles in the limelight again after the 2010s made him out to be a joke. I’m excited to see where they take this spinoff show and what crazy shenanigans Knuckles and Wade get into.
The best way to introduce these new agent looking people is just say that they are gun agents. Simple as that- whether they be Rogue or part of a new high intelligence Squad trying to get powered so Knuckles can't be a threat.
Leaks have said that Rouge is set to appear in the show. I also wanted your thoughts on ClassicManD's assertion that this show is moving to do like the games, wherein Knuckles is a friend of Sonic but not constantly living with Sonic.
That Pachacamac scene has to be an illusion of sone sort cuz i find it unbelievable that a strange alien tyrant was able to get a job in the bowling alley. Still tho it is cool that we get another echidna and i would like Knuxs to tell his backstory to Wade and we see his training with the other echidnas and maybe see Tikal in the background.
Pachacamac is someone that Knuckles never actually met in game… maybe this is an echidna from a separate tribe? That could open up some interesting conflicts. Or maybe he attempted to retreat from the battle with Long Claw, and wound up stranded on Earth. That could also have some interesting ramifications for Knuckles. As for the villains, I’m guessing GUN.
Tyson Hesse confirmed that the Echidna who shot down Longclaw in the first movie was Pachacamac, so it’s possible in the movie canon that they did meet.

Knuckles has finally got his N-Word pass that he so rightfully deserved. Idris Elba is not gonna kill it. He’s gonna murder it in cold blood. For your next video, you should do a casting video for the Sonic movie franchise. :)
Also note how i like how Sonic is noticeably older in a way almost Teenage like were his modern self is but more of his movie design were his legs and arms look more lengthy and i like that in a way lol my guess he must've gotten his growth spurt! That i still love movie sonic
This show looks SO GOOD!!!!! I was a little worried it would be boring and just about Wade finding his inner warrior but this trailer has dashed all my worries! ..BUT WHY PARAMOUNT!?!? WHY AT NINE IN THE MORNING?!?!?!
Fun fact (and mild spoilers) You good with spoilers? Yeah? Aight back when some storyboards for the knuckles series were leaked we actually saw that guy and knuckles with his flaming fists, on the storyboard they wrote "Black arms" next to him, and on the flaming fists scene on the storyboard they show wade calling them "The flames of disaster" so I really wonder if its a setup or just using the name of iblis for that form

I never knew you liked og Ratchet too! And yeah I agree, I like the buddy cop drama. About Wade, while I agree with you, (since I see wade as an okay guy) this could be one of those scenarios where, the comic relief guy is *more* than just the comic relief guy. Man could get a glow up
Like Knuckles in this is basically how similar sonic was like when he was adjusting to earth but over the top and I'm interested to see Knuckles's development were he learns were "hey its ok to relax once and while!"
Not sure I understand the generic villains criticism. Agent Stone has the same suit design as these agents, so I'm not sure what makes him inherently more unique. People will say they don't want nostalgia, but then scoff at any idea that even slightly deviates from the games, it's a bit frustrating to see. There's an opportunity here to create a unique world that while influenced by the games can stand on its own two feet, I don't want the movie franchise to just be a copy and paste of the game's universe. So, when concepts like new villains, or Pachacamac still being alive crop up I get excited with all the new potential that will never be explored in the games. I apologize if that sounded antagonistic, I'm just really grateful for this movie franchise and its unique version of Sonic and friends. I'm not trying to invalidate anyone else's wants, but I want to express my own as well. Thanks for the video and your honest opinions.
To be fair, Agent Stone's design IS generic. People like him for his personality, not his design. These agents are gonna have to prove they are good characters just like he did.
the games haven't been doing the characters justice lately so im glad that the movies/tv show's are. maybe the new writers for the games will finally pick up on the fact that, this is how the characters should be if you want the fans to continue to like these characters. like... i totally given up on tails as my fave character untill i saw him in live action.
My theory when I saw Christopher Lloyd being casted in the show was him playing as Gerald Robotnik as a cameo for the last episode in the credits scene or just some old man to bring wisdom to Wade, but I was fine with him as Pachacamac.
Boy, I watched the series, and I'm sorry that your hopes like Pachacamac isn't teasing Adventure 1 or 2 is in the miss. When they are hiring writers for any Sonic projects, they should definitely hire you.
The only real thing I'm concerned about is that brief shot of Palchamac. See, I don't mind if they bring back Palchamac but I'm a little worried they'll do something weird with his character. Like, why is he in a bowling alley? Like, I really hope they don't make it so that he survived only to turn his back on his tribe and live a different life. That sounds really weird. But that really seems to be the only conclusion I can come to. But other than that, I'm actually pretty interested in this show. Knuckles still has that perfect blend of being badass while being funny. The dynamic he'll have with Wade looks to be entertaining, and the new villain actually looks really dope for a non-Eggman villain.
I'm really happy for the show, and seeing this trailer and how well it seems they're treating Knuckles's character makes me even more excited for Sonic 3. SA2 is such a beloved game and I'm glad we have writers who may do a good job of adapting the game into a movie
I personally think I will love this series, BUT I'm on your side, Sir. PJ: a good Characterization and a good Storyline and Backstory about the New Characters (and the old ones too) are both a MUST. I'm kind of wondering if that main villain isn't a reference if not some adaptation to the character, Hunter, who hunted Knuckles in the Archie comics. He not only debuted in one of the Knuckles stories but also eventually ended up working for Robotnik later. He was also shown to have some level of technological intellect as well because of the technology he used while hunting and because he showed up in an aircraft of some kind. So honestly it could make sense for a tie-in.
I actually wouldn't mind if Pachacamac actually survived, rather than be a imaginary moment, if Knux gets decked too hard. I love the "harden leader who survived and mellowed/chilled out, in/on another place" troupe, if written well. It would be cool seeing character development in him, having changed some. One of the things I Iove about the movie universe, is that it's not a play by play book, of the games or comics, but it's own thing, while still respecting the characters.

(I've not watched the video yet btw) I really loved the trailer, and I can't wait to watch (illegally, of course) the show The good : Knuckles is awesome as always, his movie-verse version is probably my favorite, they know how to keep a balance between the funny and the badass Pairing him with Wade is MY FAVORITE IDEA OF THE SHOW, I fnd Wade extremely funny and his attitude create a great dynamic with Knuckles. Also, expanding on side character is the most goated thing ever and i'm glad they did it The cinematic aspect of it looks also really clean, it seems great visually, and the scenario is basic but efficient, I like that they don't try to introduce too much since the serie is exclusive to Paramount+, so they don't have to reintroduce a second time everything for the next movie for people who can't watch the show The meh : I'm not really on board with the antagonist and the two goons yet, but I think they could work, so I'm waiting for the full serie to really make up my mind on them. On one hand, they just seem to be a lesser version of Eggman, and stronger choices of ennemies could've been made, but on the other hand, "guy making robots and machines to fight the heroes" has alway worked for Sonic, also the duo of goons remind me of Team Rocket, so I think they could be a lot of fun if done right So yeah, for now I'm cautiously hyped about all of it

The Sonic 2 protuloge comics... they are one of the first criminals that Sonic tries to stop Batman style...he havn't even started calling himself Blue Justice only at the end he figured the Name of Blue Justice....i don't blame you for missing that...but i wanted someone to know Oh and they were supposed to get Robotnik's glove...they were hired by Agent Stone....Sonic stopped tham, but a badnik gave the glove to Stone...AND THAT'S WHY HE HAS THE ROBOTNIK GLOVE IN SONIC 2

Here’s my theory about Pacachamac(however you spell that). Pachacamac was actually in the first movie as the one who shot Longclaw as confirmed by Tyson Hesse. Sonic 2 established that both Longclaw and the Echidnas were dead and I thought that was either because Longclaw died later of her injuries or of old age after killing all the Echidnas, but since he’s here my theory is that hes the only one that survived to finish her off. And he’s probably here because he wants to manipulate Knuckles into turning against Sonic again and taking the Master Emerald back to his home. Another thing, the quills that old guy is using might actually be from Pachacamac and he’s going after Knuckles’ quills bc they have stronger power or smth.
I feel like the chief echidna will be vastly different, I'm guessing he's a coward who ran away from the battle going to earth becoming manager of the bowling rink, will link to knuckles arc of holding on to his traditions as this echidna completely abandoned his culture and will probably have adapted to earth much better than knuckles making him question if he belongs or something like that, probably only in that one scene but might come back in the finale to help knuckles to make up for running away.
Alternatively, he could have been the only survivor after leading his people into a failed war. Maybe we will get to see that the echidna events from Adventure 1
Y'know if this show is standalone and has no connection to the movies, Its still a plus. We don't want a Marvel moment where we need to watch the shows to understand anything in the movies.
Anyone notice Sonic looking a little older? Could just be a speculation, but the biggest thing that got my attention was his upper chest being larger and more poofy, and it seems like he’s a bit taller and has longer quills.
Well, I just made a video discussing his character so feel free to give that a watch. But, my overall opinions on Shadow in Prime were mixed. He had a lot of good aspects (like his voice and combat), but also some negative aspects (like the show treating him as though he has no friends).
On unrelated note I hope they replace Chaos with Nazo cause Chaos is lackluster, his base form is mid and his kaiju form is trash, my replacing him with Nazo they can go into cosmic side of Sonicverse
@@houyo are you sure they went to south america and not mexico? Because the echidna, to me at least, have always looked more like they took inspiration from aztec/mexica cultures rather than incan for example
