Very useful thanks. I was starting with a tapered cylinder and trying to "etch" details into it, but this approach looks easier. But as you say there are probably many different ways to do this.

I'll echo Alien's comment -- you didn't seem to have a plan, changed your mind several times, jumped through it quickly. Even stopping your video over and over, I still found it hard to follow, in part because my screen for F360 didn't always look like yours. However, I did learn enough from your video to create my own knurled knob (far more simply, in the end, than how you did it). Well, you did say there were ten ways to do a task in F360!

I'd like to make that knob. I went to instructables and it was not there

I've been trying to follow this for over a week now, but your mouse cursor moves to bloody fast,. lol. I'm new to Fusion and I'm trying to design some levelling knobs for my 3D Printer bed. I don't suppose you have a step by step guide do you, Please? Awesome, design by the way and thank you.

Thank you so much for the feedback. You can always slow the video to half speed, but the best bet might be to work through Lars Christensen's fantastic video series "Absolute Beginners" at ru-vid.com Lars goes through each tool and its options. Since every tool in Fusion has several options, Lars often concentrates on how to use one specific tool. Just learning one tool takes one or more full videos, and how many tools are there in Fusion - 100, 200 maybe? My video is more of a quick review of how to combine techniques and it covers a lot of ground in five minutes. I apologize for blowing through so much stuff so quickly. I don't have a step by step guide, but the sequence is relatively simple. Here's a list of the basic tools used: Sketching (referencing the centerline) Extruding (using the symmetric option) Revolve Circular Pattern Combine (using the Join option) Fillet (And how to roll back the timeline to edit bodies you created earlier) Seriously, spend a few hours with Lars and then come back and let me know if my video makes any more sense LOL. Hope that helps, and again, my apologies.
