Yet another video where they are running normal gearing and not a stupid massive stunt sprocket like SurRonster and look no issues…. again. Literally everyone else has the common sense to understand how things work except one of the biggest Sur Ron influencers why is that? SMH Glad to see everyone else is enjoying the KO Moto setups. Can’t wait to be one of those doing so here soon in my Talaria.
What should I lubricant the motor pully with? Like where the sprocket connects to the motor? I don’t really know about this stuff, I’ve heard people like a hate wd40 for it.
Alright, im to pull the trigger on this and am looking at the pro and factory spec controller. Should I just save the money and go pro or would I be missing out on anything by not getting the Factory Spec controller. Between a popular you tubers review that I don't really think is fair cause the gearing he has is out of control and a few other channels I love that you guys are giving KO a fair shake. I think it has way more potential than the BAC and to be hones im sick of seeing the BAC. Thanks for the content, you guys really do answer a ton of my questions without me have to answer them with my wallet on my own.....
Yeah man I would save the money and get the pro it's definitely plenty of power. We should be getting a factory spec to review, so will make the final opinion after that. 🤘
@@swank171 Thanks legend, appreciate the support! If you get stuck with tuning your KO setup make sure you jump on the KO discord channel or you can hit us up!
Hi guys! Nice build! What kind of a battery are you running 60v or 72v? I just bought the x9000 controller and getting a KO motor, but can't decide between the 60v 65aH and 72V 53Ah battery.
Which exact battery manufacture did you use, understand 72 V, what’s the amp hours and the brand? Did you have to use the seat riser kit to accommodate?
@@pauldanrich3919 Hey mate we have 3 X EBMX 42AH 72V batteries. Fitment is pretty important to us over huge range. Can pull 300Amps no issues but BMS limited obviously.
@@progressive_e 😆 I mean the different combos make sense, I'm 6ft with 19/19 with ebmx seat extension but the geometry doesn't feel quite right. May need a 21 up front for lift but would miss the nimbleness. The KO nano might be enough for me, your setup is crazy fast
@@johnh9031 21/18 doesn't feel as snapy as 19/16 or 19/19. If your serious though I don't think you can go past 21/18 as it just handles the bigger things so much better. I think we will probably be doing a video of what controller to buy soon but if your planning to keep the stock motor I'd 100% put my money on the nano!
Hey mate Controller wise the pro has more capacitors and higher phase amps / line amps. The standard controller is definitely enough but I will be getting a pro controller for review too👍
@@FullyChargedebikesdublin No worries at all legend! It's been this good for about 2 months to be honest. We've ran a similar tune, the main change is KO figured out the correct back torque scale and added that to the base code which gives you a crisp off feeling
With a after market controller the extra power along with additional field weakening makes the motor acceleration rpm with no load not ideal. To the point where you will loose magnets and damage the rotor.
Instead of throwing bac controller in the bin you could do a lucky dip so one of your patrons or those who comment can win it at least that way it's not wasted. May increase your viewer numbers aswell...
