It wasn't that long ago that most American tool users didn't even know what Koken tools were. Thats all changed now, mainly due to the internet is my guess.
That's really nice. I had to weld a 3/8-1/4" adapter to a cheap tap collet a few months back in order to reach a stripped out manifold stud. If only I had one of these in my drawer....
@@BrandoDamo I'd need to get the 1/2" drive because I tap to 16mm often enough. Japanese hand tools are always quality and nice design. 👍 I really like how these grip the tap tightly.
Nice, I'll probably get those. I love a indent in the middle of a sliding T, especially in the 3/8 & 1/2" drive sizes. In 1/2" u can make a hefty spinner with some weight behind it.
Tell ya what I use it for a lot. The tanks at the factories here use top mount pumps...like a truck or old land cruncher. I use that spinner to remove the mount plate bolts. Most would grab an impact but the whole vibration thing is wrong. Once you get the hang of it they're plenty fast with that. Like having an engine on an engine stand, oil pan, valve covers. Works old shcool. Remember speeders ? Breaker bars ? Yup. All day
