I remember the first time I heard this track. Those 30 seconds are so important. I kept expecting some kind of drop on the first listen. Like, "3 minutes in and no drop yet... This is one hell of a buildup. It better deliver." Then that WHOHMmm blared out and I realized, "Oh... Oh wow, that's the point. The whole thing is a journey." I could write a damn paper on how well this track expresses "the journey, not the destination".
KOAN Sound has changed, and maybe for the better... They did what they did well, and they do this well too. If they could still do what they did back then alongside this... That would be the best possible scenario for me. But what do I know? All I know is that this has a different charm to it than what they did a few years ago.
AssassinationProject Their old style wasn't viable for the most part in 2013 either, and I honestly don't think they've adapted to anything, so I'd say changed, not evolved.
Sune Kragelund Sandvad Their sounds are way more refined. Don't care about what you think. This is my opinion. They have come a long way and what they became is more than enough for me to call it evolution.
I miss listening to these guys. haven't listened in a few years and came for a throwback feeling and got exactly what I wanted. hope to god they make a new album soon
