I've been using a Waterborne setup for about two years now on a 17" wheelbase, but on the water I use a 10-foot surf SUP, and my Waterborne setup isn't very similar at all. Which longboard have you tried that seems most like longboard surfing? Koastal 60? Hamboard?
I would recommend Sup skateing Koasta or Hamboard deck with torsion type trucks like Revenge or FW. If you need more sup surf feeling use bushings type surf trucks.
@@drzilton Dude glad you found this lol. I rode that drifter the summer I commented and had a blast. It was around that time that I started surfing consistently and really accelerated with it, so the drifter was loaned out to my fellow surfer friend. He liked it so much I decided to say goodbye for now, its now living with him in California, he moved a few months ago. Hes coming back this September and will return it to me and buy his own ;)
