On Thursday 3rd Feb 2022 we decided to go for a sunset fishing session at Broken Road, Strandfontein, Cape Town, South Africa.

Distance dropped: 285m
Bait: Live mullet(harder)
Tide: High tide
Fish caught: Kob(Kabeljou/Mulloway)

I remember when I lived in Cape Town over 20 years ago, filleting fish was rare. Moving to NZ, I become accustomed to eating filleted fish. Will never go back. I've noticed watching videos from SA that it's become the norm there too. Good catch and well done. Great video.

As I watched the catch cook, my mouth watered and hoped the recipe would be shared. Eish, it’s not there. Make a plan please.

Haha!! I’m glad you enjoyed it. All we used was salt and pepper for the fish and added fresh garlic and butter in the pan before it was done. The puree was made with mint, peas and plain yoghurt
