DRAGON MAID WEDNESDAY!! Possibly the last Dragon Maid fact video (sad face) but I want to keep making more videos on this series. What kind of thing would you like to see?
Yes the guy above me is right but this means drunk Kobayashi is stronger than the will of what previously was God's sword drunk Kobayashi out here beating Gods and practically owning dragons
I did not realize that the deadpan Kobayashi also has the same English voice actor as the psychotic Togo of MHA. Now that’s what I call a range in acting skills.
Then again, not that I've never noticed a similarity in voices. She does have to be loud for the drunk scenes of kobayahsi so it's not that unbelievable, but still cool
I don't care how many busty dragons this series adds, Miss Kobayashi is always gonna be my favorite character She's not best girl though Fafnir is best girl
Spoiler fact: She currently is possession of the sword that nearly killed Tohru, it currently rests in her soul where it gained sentience. So not only does she possess a god tier dragon slaying sword, but is also now a mother to an intellegent son.
I've wondered if Koboyashi's boss, and noteably Shouta's father, will ever acknowledge her either as a worker, his son's friend (and possibly mentor), or both.
Her birthday is actually on April 23 it said in the dragon maid guide book and her English voice actor is satomi tachibana in how heavy are the dumbbells you lift and the holy sword is apart of Kobayashi now
I would honestly love to see that personally, she’s one of my favorite characters in Dragon Maid mainly due to the voice acting in Japanese and her interesting relationship with Tohru, its so fun and wholesome!!!
"小林(Kobayashi)" is the 9th most common name in Japan, I doubt there's any point in thinking it has anything to do with a random comedian unless the author says so, or says they are a fan or something.
Makes sense that her VA voices male characters as kids since Sonia from "Kill Me Baby" sounds really masculine for how she looks. Also she's going to voice Ermes Costello soon.
Omg I've been a fan of new game since the manga came out i even have both seasons on Amazon but I've only watched the subbed version of dragon maid I didn't know that Yun's voice actor in English was the English one for Kobayashi. That's so cool makes me want to watched the dubbed version now.
that's python programming language to handle dynamic web request and web session lol She not a web designer, she is a web application programmer that handles backend application logic
Considering the crazy things she's had to deal with since meeting Tohru. She clearly has some incredible mental stamina. Along with a good heart and personality.
Regarding not being affected by the sword. I think it's less Kobayashi having no faith and more that she was blackout drunk. There was nothing that sword could do to her mind that the alcohol hadn't already done.
All this years I was avoiding this anime because I though Kobayashi was a male making this anime another harem with half-something girls. The fact that she is actually a girl change everything…
I hope if they ever make a third season we see her reaction to the fact that the sword that almost killed Tohro became sentient and now lives in her soul plus I want to see her totally wreck Kanna's dad
The Japanese title is "Kobayashi-san Chi no Maidragon", which means "maid dragon of Kobayashi-san's household". The manga also has "The maid dragon of Kobayashi-san" printed in English on the Japanese covers. "Kobayashi-san" is gender-neutral and sounds completely unimportant and normal, unlike what the localized title calls her.
The show is cute as it does touch things most animes don't like same gender relationships. But the varies of personalities are better. Even character development is shown which isn't often either. In general I love the show.
Actually, the code shown at 8:03 is not HTML, but python, totally different stuff. The code at 8:08 is just a bunch of shadows and it is impossible to say.
Why does Toru always cut off her tail and go through a lengthy process to make it edible to humans despite the fact that Kobayashi has explicitly told her that she will never eat it?
@@thomasallen9974 I got the feeling that it has a lot more to it. It's either something of huge cultural significance, or it has some magical properties (probably trying to preserve her youthful body).
