MJ was great. Kobe was great. As far as skills, Kobe has no equal. He could perform every shot anywhere on the court at any time on anyone. Do you ya feel me on this. Turn, Spin, Fade, Up, Left hand, Right hand, Broken index finger, Hook, fall-back, 180 turns, scoops, `Left-handed fades. You name it he tried in the game on the NBA best players.

Kobe’s footwork was impeccable obviously perfected after thousands of hours of practice. Truth be told, Kobe mastered a few skills that Jordan didn’t have; (please no argument). Kobe was a fantastic ball handler and mastered angles that only Elgin Baylor and Dr. J could complete with. People love to argue anytime someone says that another player could do something that MJ couldn’t. Why can’t All players be celebrated for their own individual talents??

This dude this season really was putting a show on for fans every night he stepped on the court this season..I mean you can see his facial expressions as if to say there's no one in this league fucking with me...I mean just for example lebron James one of the bigger defenders in the league at the time guarding Kobe in the post..Kobe stuck his tongue out to his teammate like give me the ball this is a bucket right here...back down back down dream shake fadeaway..splash..and his face says easy bucket...he really was in his bag this season...on a mission to the chip...Kobe was that dude

I watched Lakers games from 1998. Honestly speaking, when facing a game within 10 points and we have Kobe on the court, I felt very confident for the Lakers. No one else gave me this feeling.

We often compare kobe to MJ, how he is the closest player next to jordan, but what we don't think of is MJ was a far better athlete then kobe. Compare MJ and kobe is like compare Bugatti vs Lamborghini. That just show how much work kobe has invested in his craft. Missed him everyday. RIP mamba
