Man, the first couple of post Jordan years were so exciting. Kobe, Vince, T-Mac, AI.... Any of them could have been the next greatest player and they all were mindblowing. (I was a Kobe fan anyway)
Will Frazier He is more than a sub par 3 pointer shooter, he is a great 3 point shoot, fuck you talking sub par. How comes he’s top 10 in 3 points made all time.?
@@ManOfAttitudeLP1998 u trippin brah. Ya the 80s & 90s were golden eras, but 2000s had prime Shaq, Kobe, Wade, T-Mac, AI, Melo, Dirk, Nash Suns, Spurs big 3, Ray ray, KG, Pierce, VC etc etc
@@LandStrider23 Still all in all it was decent at best 90s was the pinnacle most would agree on this goes for Rap too and probably existing in the last and current century.
I’m not saying James is the GOAT, *{coughs )MJ*but James doesn’t really play Shooting guard. He’s everywhere, and versatile. but Kobe in the shooter position 🐐 🐐
Wow I miss these days when the superstar players actually guarded each other through most of, if not the entire game, and made it extremely competitive going at each other to prove who was better. (Back when it was about who’s the best, not who’s got the biggest contract)
Back when no one rested and the best players guarded each other. If only TMac stayed they probably would have met the Lakers in the finals one of those years if not multiple times and formed a great rivalry.
Excellent editing. I love how a cut to the next highlight doesn’t necessarily cut the audio from the previous one. And I especially love the free-throw insets. Saves some time! 👍🏼 👍🏼
Is it just me or does it seem like the audience was a much more mature audience than what appears to be more of a reef raff, rag-tag audience now??!! If you don't believe me then take a look at the audience @ 9:12; I don't remember that last time that I saw someone dressed in a suit to go to an NBA game in recent memory, more like jerseys and baseball caps.
Amazing players. vc was a better distributor, Kobe had better agility :) both amazing to watch. They dead even as players at the time. Kobe did have Shaq ;)
I don't think so!! Eastern. Conf. Is a small ball team. Shaq always having a hard time playing against Western conf. Team on finals games.kobe is more versatile and have lots of arsenals, they are both fortunate playing along side of each other
@Amin Muh Kobe shut down Vince in the second half and Mark Jackson in the first. He also scored 40 points on 14/29 shooting and led Lakers to victory in OT. Kobe > Vince in any day of their careers.
Vince was the most popular player in the league at that time the league wanted him to be the face but didnt want the pressure or responsibility he just wanted to fit in and be one of the guys
People keep talking about Kobe cmon guys the best player was Shaq he was the most dominant player on those years , the rest Kobe Vince nice to see but when the stakes are high you pass the ball to the big guy and I’m. Not talking about joe Biden
For a short amount of time VC was ahead of Kobe including in this game. Kobe had Shaq in his prime during this game, and almost still lost. If VC didn't fall off athletically in the next few years after this game the sky would have been the limit. He was more athletic than Kobe, a better shooter, and stronger in the post.
