Koda & Dabin - The Take Down 

this was classic ENM Savant, Dabin, Fox stevenson i miss it

It's been six years since I first hear this on ENM... still makes me shed my tears tonight. :)

5 years later and still no music video. I learned a lot in the 3 years that I tried to make this happen with. If I didn't accidentally come across this today I wouldn't be making this update. All the character designs and storyboards are in my file cabinet, I've attempted to animate this several times, each of which I hit points where I decided I'd rather put my energy elsewhere than solving those problems. Boy, was that a stupid idea. Eventually so many problems accumulated that I decided it would be better to redo everything up, starting from the concept. But I never did. Here's a quote of what the content was originally going to be (based on my message to Dabin): "A young man is shot by his lover and tossed out of a plane, flying over water. Except it will play in slow motion and reverse. So in the beginning he's rising from the depths and the blood that seeped into the water is going back into his body as he rising to the sky and into the plane and so on. Then it plays back forward in normal speed. At the very end of the song he washes up on a shore(still alive), a girl in a white dress finds him there."

This song is incredible. The beautiful melodies, blissful bass growls, and koda's great vocals all combine to make a stellar track that really brings out your emotions. One of the best songs on this channel in my opinion.

Quite possibly the best sub I've ever made. Most start off strong but fizzle out down the line. I've been more then happy with every post these guys have made. Simply Unreal!

Just bought a box of tissues. All this back petting...brings a tear to my eye.

The image evokes a feeling of peace, she doesn't look like she is in pain, she looks like she's drifting off to sleep. The water and bubbles around her make it seem dream-like, with the music added in, I think it's just trying to convey an emotion. If that makes sense...

for me the picture adds the sad tone to the song that only an anime scene could, if you watch anime you know what i mean, the emotion that a scene can bring the dubstep is amazing but with the picture it has an even sadder tone that gives the music meaning!

It's often a symbolic thing, in a lot of anime and manga characters will go through a stage of depression, often there emotions during this stage that are described as a sinking feeling, hence the concept art visualizing these emotions. Often these kind of emotions that a character experiences is because it will often share similarities with emotions people feel in real life, and is therefore quite popular.
