Hi Great show and tell video! I just ordered a #2 F. I have experience with TLR 120 cameras that take 6x6cm images. The #2 F with a 6x9cm aspect ratio should be nice for certain compositions - especially landscapes and portraits. Thanks again.

Yes! It's 35mm proportion on a much larger negative. Jason

Really enjoyed this video 🙂I now have 2 Brownie 2 F's 1 Canadian and the other Great Britain. Both are different. the Canadian 2f has frosted glass on the viewfinders. the Great Britain 2F has clear viewfinder glass. (not the mirror's the actual glass) there is also no wood inside the Canadian version, wheras the british one has wood under the shutter cover. I now want a Rochester New York version 🙂

Thank you for this informative video ! I have just bought one in a local thrift store. Do you know what is the shutter speed ? Thank you again so much ❤📷🎞️

1/30 to 1/50. Varies due to condition, age, etc. But it's best with ISO 50 to 100 film. Enjoy!!!

Hi I have a question . While winding the film to the next shot does the light coming in the red window effect the film and make light leaks?
@ganzonomy

I suppose if you were using a fast enough film in bright sunlight such as Delta 3200, it might cause a light leak issue, but these cameras were largely designed to be shot at ISO 25 or ISO 50, ISO 100 at the most. Using those three speeds I've never had an issue with light leaks on any of my shots with this camera. If you want to be absolutely safe though, just take some black electrical tape and use it as a sort of flap to cover up the number after you have wound to the next exposure.

@@djamelmeziane9088 go look for 120 format film. It's easily available at larger photo labs around the world. In fact it's a standard size made by Kodak, Fuji, ilford, etc.
