Thanks I really enjoyed this as I have wanted to try motion picture stocks for a while plus I use an MZ-S too. I wanted to check what lens you used?

It will be the 28mm FA F2.8 or the 43mm Ltd F1.9 ….the MZS is incredible camera and I find it very hard to leave it on the shelf

Few question. Do you edit your photos in Davinci Resolve? And, was this film shot with the remjet left on and if so did you remove the remjet before scanning? Thank you, great video! Subbed.

Hi the film was developed ECN-2 so exactly as you would if it was shot on a cinema film camera…and yes remjet on …the remjet comes off during the ECN2 developing …the scanning is an odd ball they scanned it as if it was a Normal c41 stock ..so there will be a colour shift as they won’t have the correct profile ..when I have worked proper motion picture stock its normal come back like LOG footage and in resolve you use ADX or cineon to correct it so it’s not quite right …but looks nice

Thank you , I was wondering about how people edit photos in resolve

hi you can just bring them in like a video clip and edit them with the colour tools then export them as still ...motion picture film arrives as a string of DPX files or Tiffs and you edit it like video resolve isn,t really gear up for very high res images as it more focus on video

Hi. Very interesting video. I'm an absolute beginner in Analogue and I've been shooting various Kodak cine films from analogue revival due to the cost effectiveness vs dedicated still camera film. I've been developing at home and scanning on a cheap Epson scanner. I'm upgrading to a DSLR scanning setup imminently. I've never used Photoshop or really done any editing of my pics yet. I was wondering if you use a specific tool in your software to do this or do you need knowledge of photo editing to achieve this? I video on using whatever software you use specifically with cine film would be fantastic if you're ever stuck for ideas! Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Hi the labs I use develops every thing ECN-2 so the correct way however I’m sure there scanner profile won’t be correct for cine films …you can bring it into photoshop and tweak or davinci resolve ..go idea I may do a video that’s for the comment

I have been developing c41 but I now have ecn2 chems so looking forward to trying those out. I wouldn't know where to start in Photoshop though when it comes to twerking images!
