Kodamdesar is a small village 25 k.m west of Bikaner, famous for the pond of the same name and the idol of Bhairav installed on its banks. The idol of Bhairav was brought here from Mandore by Rao Bika himself at the time of settling in Janglu. There are four articles from the 16th and 17th centuries. , The oldest of these inscriptions is inscribed on the two sides of the kirtistambha near the idol of Bhairav on the east side of the pond. This kirtistambha is of red stone and idols of gods and goddesses are carved around it. It is found from this article that in 1459 AD, Rao Jodha, son of Rao Rinmal of Bhadrapada Sudi, got this pond excavated and installed a Kirtistambh for his mother Kodamde
