Sometime in late 2021, our friend Anthony Bonadonna sent us the rough draft of the original topline idea for “All A Lie.” On first listen, we knew there was huge potential and with the right topline revisions, production, and vocalist, this song could be GOLD!!! Our initial inspiration for the production was “Stay” by Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber 🎤 As dance pop producers, we wanted to lean more into our dance music roots, so we went with a brighter more energetic interpretation of an 80’s synth pop style. The track actually sat on the shelf for months as we searched for the right vocalist to do it justice. We stumbled onto Justin Park's page on social media and saw the vision of what this song could be if we collaborated together. Justin was mutual friends with one of our super close friends, Devin Larscheid, so we sent the track to Devin to share with Justin and the rest is history. It’s serendipitous how this all came together, and we feel blessed to have worked on such an incredible song with even better friends.
