if they are willing to tax dodge on registering a car (minuscule money savings for a really wealthy person) makes you wonder what other tax dodging they do. cayman islands anyone??
Agreed if your smart you go the night before save the $800 for hotels, fuel, food, drinks etc. The key to having money regardless on how large your bank account is , is to save $ where you can an don't throw it away when you can see it the day before the event for practically free. You don't stay Rich or well off when your stupid and careless with your $ money. But WTF do I know i guess you have to be a rocket scientist to figure that kind of stuff out right ?
918s would barely get a glance. They were there too, nobody cared. I've personally seen about 3. They're like an Audi to a Ferrari when you have a 918 to a Regera.
the ford is supposed to have a horrible mpg-according to german car news...NOT that that matters anyhow, but still not that eco-boosty that engine. That M1 had german plates for classic cars btw, Münster/germany tbp.
WOW man, so you're driving a Lamborghini, (not anything crazy) but notable nontheless, but you can't afford the 800 dollar ticket to the show??? what's up with that?? ***Just sayin***
When he said carnage, he meant cornucopia, and when he says "never fails to disappoint" he means "it never disappoints". This guy belongs to the Derek Zoolander school of metaphors.
It's really funny to me that at 20:43 he walks by an Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale as if it was a Camry. Now I'm not saying that the Aston Martin 177 is not an amazing car, but the Alfa Romeo is quite rare and quite beautiful too and certainly deserves to be mentioned and admired. Today's modern technically savvy super cars are incredibly quick and safe, and they handling amazingly well, but they can be driven fast by anyone, but afforded by a very few lucky people. As someone who drives and reviews many different cars as varied as the Nissan GTR, the Austin Healey Sprite, Porsche 911, Lexus RC F and the Model T Ford, I can tell you that driving a classic car quickly on a back road or the track takes a lot of skill. While modern super cars are certainly beautiful in their own way, there's no modern Ferrari with the visual appeal of the 275 GTB Lusso, the 1957 Pontoon Fendered Testa Rossa, or even the 308 GTS. Similarly to my eye, there's no modern Lamborghini that looks as good as the 400 GT, Islero, Countach or even the Espada. Modern cars like Bugattis, Koenigseggs, McLarens and even the La Ferrari have shapes dictated by wind tunnels. A case in point is the new Alfa Romeo 4C. It is a very fast, and super cool car. I'm glad that Alfa is back, but I wish it looked more like the Giulia Sprint Speciale than a Lotus Elise! At any rate, thanks for sharing the video, I'm glad I got to see it since I couldn't be there! See my channel for lots of great cars and car reviews both new and old!
hahahah I'm glad your comment is at the top. I almost felt bad for a second. but that's not my issue if someone takes it negatively. I'm not being rude or negative. THey are 1/4 million to several million dollar cars. lol. take ten seconds to figure out how to pronounce them.
not only you get a bunch of tax free option but also smog free. Also the department are mostly not connected with each other. I mean, usually hassle free. say I got a court call, or something like a police paper/arrest. It wont affect you anything in DMV. Some city dont even have a dmv. they do some of the paperwork in city court/hall. Well, you know, in socialist California, shit all connected, you dont pay your insurance, they suspend your registrations and shit. In MT, they dont really care. My Montana 2004 mustang registration was about 30 bucks. But in California, I pay 140 a year. I pay $14 for my 1994 silverado dont know how much it would be in Ca since I never registered in Ca. Another reason is because a lot of rich people buy properties in Montana ever since the 60s. And a lot of rancher got motherload through the history. copper, gold, platinum you name it. and a lot of them ranchers are rich old farts. I have run into so many ranches where they story their 80s 90s supercars in a muddy dusty shed probably with cattle live inside. Rusty classic american cars all over the places. If you are a Montana local, once in a while, you run into a famous movie star. ex; Arnie has some properties there. people see him a lot
Hey man! Awesome video! That Regera is GORGEOUS!!! I love your enthusiasm and passion for cars man. It is felt right through the videos! Here's to more...!! God Bless
For a car enthusiasts, you don't seem to care much about true classic car, about true icons of the automotive industry, there was a magnificent Mercedes Benz classic right between your Gallardo and the Aston Martin.
Living in Montana, I can confirm that I've only ever seen 1 super car and it was a red aventador. I feel like some of those cars just found random Montana plates xD
I've attended The Quail over the past few years and there are so many great cars there and in Monterey (on the streets and at the auctions) that you hit overload. Cars you would normally freakout over on any other day, like Veyron, Aventador, etc, are nothing there. This year I saw two Ferrari F50s and a Zonda in the freaking-regular-person-parking lot! A Zonda?!? I didn't even know you could get those in the US!
