I like how Ken informs the viewers how much he paid for certain items. 99% of fashion RU-vidrs just show what they copped but omit what they paid. We all know it’s an expensive hobby.
Depends on how you look at it. Some people will see it as boasting if you tell them how much you paid. I don't think that's Ken's intention here since he's not the type of consumer to go for flashy designs from luxury brands all the time.
@@chillblue1650 yea agree. kinda gives the viewers an idea of how much the stuff is going for. It might help in the future with making deals with buyers/sellers.
Ken and Tom always are on the same shit every month. Lol remember they was skating, then fishing, chrome hearts, sneakers, now Levi jeans. Lmao can't wait for next months drip
not sure if you'll read this but life's been utterly shit. my body aches from the toll my mental and emotional state has been in. the one thing that has made me genuinely smile is seeing a recent vlog pop up lol, keep doing your stuff Ken :)
Its not that crazy. I mean they are shopping at high end vintage boutiques with very curated selections. Stores in the us that offer similar pieces often charge a lot too. You can’t compare the price of a Björk tee to some random tee you found at goodwill.
@@mildred78 even curated stores in the us aren’t as nearly expensive. Big E Levi’s and grail tees are a lot less. Probably also because most vintage items were made in the us so we have more of an abundance.
@@BB-oe5dz I disagree. High end curated vintage in the US is usually more expensive than Japan. Why do you think so much gets imported back into the States these days?
506xx is type 1 meaning with only one pocket. 507xx is type 2 with 2 pockets. The number at the back of the button indicates what year and factory it was made in where the single number for example "0" indicates its a 70s era. If it was "555" its a newer made repro made from the san Francisco factory.
Funny that Ken is mentioning that raw denim isn’t popular in the states cuz the Japanese were only interested in light wash and used denim when it was first introduced in Japan after the American occupation. Only later did raw denim become popular in Japan, full circle.
@@matthewdancel8823 Well I live in California and that old college merch is always in thrift stores around here. I don’t rep schools I did go to though.
@@allen.t ok and only an idiot would pay that much for a Wisconsin hoodie. Even if these shops have it already curated more stuff gets dumped in random thrift stores and eBay all the time. You gotta look.
The best thing that calls me from vintage style are some off the jackets 🧥 specially those 1’$ nylons and hoodies are sick & even converse shoes 👟 is something different but these pieces costs too high btw great content keep it up?💯👍🔥
I've had my septum for so long, and I still get surprised by how baffled people are with it. Id say, tell your friend that cold weather is very annoying with metal in your nose. :p
