@@strepsilsaregood4u eh, the games are the one and only true canon to the series. However snk has been known to take some ideas from the kof manga, we'll have to wait and see how they handle shingo with his future dlc inclusion into kof 15
There's manga? Sweet. Finally something other than King of fantasy Edit: I read it...I felt stuff even though I already knew what was gon happen. I still love the hakeshu to death despite what they did
As i been reading the manga, it's honestly amazing how durable Shingo really is, like my boy can tank multiple slashes! Nice detail showing his sisters and the trophy of 99 that he won. 👍😶
I have heard about this manga but not read it , but after watching this video I just want to ask - Did Shingo Solved the Disputes of Kusanagi and Yagami Clan ? Did he got a new Blue Flames or like Iori ? If yes then How?
It's mentioned that due to his beatens from Yagami and Yamazaki, Shingo has some from of Orochi's power within him. That, and Shingo's courage, determination and purity unlocked his blue flames that can purify the Orochi curse.😶
Shingo is better than Kyo, change my mind. Facts. Survived Nests tournaments, Not even a army of kyo´s clones or the devilish Zero cannon stop him. He also survived the Riot of Blood of Iori, take that Vice and Mature. He is a good student with A grades unlike certain protagonist who does not come back to school He trains hard to be a competent fighter. His attacks produces critical hits... He is a friendly sigma male who puts his friends and loved ones above him. He is not an jerk or a edgy teenager.
Kyo is genius with talent, Shingo is hardworking for talent. Kyo stop training at age of shingo, practice a bit serius against Rugal, Then against Geonitz, that why Kyo bit different than other fighter. Even after cool sleep almost 5 year, he easily pick up the level back . Kyo lazy nature, but has enough justice and brave to not bow to every single evil entity, he even par with kusanagi 0 and create own god dust move without evil way. Kyo is prideful fighter and deserves it title.
I friggin need to read this manga (I've only gotten so far). But I friggin love the Vice and Mature Among Uses... uses? Ussis? Either way that was funny!! Also yes the blue flame!
Something from the manga that inspired me was watching shingo hit a tree till he fell over and running home with multiple jugs of water. My boy never stops getting better!
Really hoping for Shingo to have his own team and be the leader instead of having to do XIV solo characters But I wonder, if he's going to be in that continuity + 3ST ending, who is the third member? (Daimon could be a good one)
@@perovfun3610 considering that there are quite the 50/50s on revealing the rosters (e.g. Team Fatal Fury vs Team Krohnen vs Team Sacred Treasures vs Team Secret Agents), they would either go the safe part and choose Shingo/Saisyu/Daimon or they would try to get the 2002UM team of Asian Triple Alliance depending on the scenario (or maybe go like Kazumi/Eiji/Shingo for some flair, idk) So just cross your fingers for not hoping that it is like a one-off character (besides, the team emblem shield is cool especially when you flex it on rank vs the usual KoF shield)
2:12 Shingo: Magai, did you look the manco? Magai: The...what?, What manco? Shingo: Who kick you with the mano SOME SECONDS AFTER Yamato and Magai: Panas, and they use the ultimate, supreme and royal figthing move of their respective families, The Skillet Flame Kick.
I always wondered why there has never been a "King of Fighters" Prequel Game set in the "Imperial Regalia of Japan" Era, It would've been like "Metal Gear Solid 3," "Devil May Cry 3" and even a "Red Dead Redemption 2" level of an amazing Prequel.
That would be cool. Personally, I don't care about the lore of KOF anymore. What are your opinions of Shingo's little adventure in that manga? I think it was a fun fanfic. But I hope it is not canon
@Noel T. Lat Nah, the Samurai Shodown series was set in the "Sakoku" period of 18th Century Japan, While the KOF: Gaiden Manga series where Shingo got Isekai'd was set in the "Imperial Regalia of Japan" which it's 7th Century Japan.
@@meganinten0078 I disagree, every Fighting Game needs a Lore to establish it's World Building, It was Fun, cool to see that Jobber (Shingo) getting some Representation as the Main Character Role for once, Calling it a Fan-Fic would be a massive Understatement, but of how much Creative Freedom it was put in a lot of Great work into it, Don't know about how will this be Canon, most other KOF related Media like the Light Novels and Audio Drama CDs were few Elements of them are slightly implemented into the KOF Canon (like Shingo's 3 Sisters).
@@joseurbina3835 I am just bored of Orochi's stuff. Orochi this, Orochi that. Can me make something original for once?! Traveling to the past to discovering Kyo and Iori's ancestors sounds like a fanfic to me. It was really necessary? We already know about the story of the clans and Orochi Some things are better not showing. As I said, at this point I am going to play KOF XV for the gameplay not the story that feels like a Dream Match now A lot of Orochi saga fanservice too.
@@meganinten0078 It is really, since we don't know about that, just "it happened". Shingo's gaiden gives face and identity to the players that has so much influence over what happened from 94 to 97. Yeah, we obviously know that didn't happened with shingo in it (Kaya says that Shingo is in a different timeline), but it made relate more over the story than just "it happened"
Im really happy my boi shingo is back, maybe he will bring some cool flames for XV! Shingo squad, were you at? Great animation as always Tan, i love that manga
If shingo got blue flames, mean what I predict Shingo as Ryu is happening. Kyo are this rate of story probably already par enough to deal boss like Akuma level alone. Shingo isekai theme, actually second one after manhua ver.
I don't know what makes me laugh the most Orochi Seal with that cat face on the center? 1:10 Or Mature and Vice as Among Us characters? 1:25 🤣😂 Anyway, thanks for this video. Personally speaking, I have mix feelings about Shingo getting flames 😐 On one hand, I like his long time wish came true but on the other hand, that makes Shingo less unique and special now and if the reason why Shingo got his flames is because "he is the chosen/special one" it will make me upset. What I like about Shingo is that he is an underdog, a goofball. Despite not having super powers like the rest of the cast in KOF, he is not weak, in fact I like the message of Shingo The ordinary dude who became a skilled fighter without super powers In lame words, if Shingo has flames in the games, he would be another Kyo or Fire User, and I am tired of fire users
When actually think about for the past 28 years snk had only fire pryromancers as MCs and haven't shined light to the elements such water, elect, earth, darkbess and light and it seems like the fire always seems to be the main suorce all to solve all problems . And with shunei underwhelming short saga. The Nest Saga(best saga imo) and Orochi saga are amazing in their own right. With Ash saga saga wasting huge potienal with Saiki and TFTP. And bringing back the Orochi saga as the main plot again.🙄 Honestly i felt like Elzabeth should have been the MC of that saga. While ash being her rival. I think its time and snk finally changes up things and gives us a female MC that changes ups in the lore. Plus also should give the character different powers instead of fire again lol . They got 15 fire users in the entire franchise😂
Ehm on the manga he didnt ending with blue flames like Iori or Kyo or any other flame user. Yeah, he got blue flames but was for an "this Is all i have" moment, barely were any flames and he quickly was burned from his own flames.
welcome back shingo you hard working yet adorable cinnamon roll!!! (love him having the 99 trophy at the end.:3) really loved the shingo manga(kof really should do another anime & chizuru is adorable in that bikini/saisyu's "yes you saw it,now back to training boy."stare he gives shingo and liked his sisters.). shingo was awesome with how it showed he has grown since iori's attack to withstand magaki, his jerkoff father and even mature & vices(liked her slightly flirty"yes yes" tic/them possessing corpses.) slashes and blows enough to surprise them, loved iori's ancestor and his interactions with shingo(did think of bleach at times hearing ichigo's voice in kyo's ancestor and yakumo's basically gin.), felt pretty sad realizing kaya was the wife that was killed in the backstory(actually wonder if the woman in 13's concept for iori's team was going to be her.) while also showing hope knowing her descendants would work together to stop oorochi in the future and with kim kaphwan coming back as well honestly now want a spinoff of him going back in time during his absence in base 15 to the past of fatal fury(running into a young jeff bogard training with geese and chin/see the shiranui clan teaching mai & andy.). with how shingo still has the events of it written in his memo would really love if alongside him having blue flames for 15 it impacted the next saga(would love to see it be him showing the sacred treasures team it & with the other teams giving a clue to destroy oorochi for good with how this showed how much of a danger he as well as the threat nakoruru warned about from her world is even with beings like otama raga/maybe with geese, goenitz & the likely revived nest leaders trying to control it,though want cys to stay alive.).
@@royshaheer Well, Geese still has blue chi and Andy had blue chi in XIV but they changed it to purple in XV. Neither of them has a true fire-based attack at the moment though. Andy had Darkness Kick in 02UM while Nightmare Geese had Jaiei-ken, Asura Shippuken and Raging Dead End.
Excelente animacion, mature, vice y yakumo se ven muy bien asi, es que no me acuerdo del nombre del juego xD jajajaj, muchas gracias por deleitarnos con tu trabajo 😁🙌🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I like the idea that Shingo uses traditional Kusanagi-kata for the martial art side of things and is physically stronger cause of the focus on training he does. Him being able to floor an Orochi beast with his bare hands is a testament to that fact. And what he should do in the future is be an expert at the Kusanagi style but using new move to make up for the fact he can't use flames.
