@22Travail we have over 120 matches recorded form the event. give us some time to upload stuff. we also have to do big two today and get ready for bar fights on sunday.
@xIO32x now that I think about it I was using tactical and technical to describe technical. Pianoing, plinking, and double tapping are more technical than the links in KoF. KoF has links that are more like target combos and aren't really difficult to pull off.
@teamspooky Spoon awesome job with all the coverage from the tournaments and stuff, you are really awesome for doing it. Big thanks for all the support you give to the fighting/gaming community in general.
@KeijiMaeda86 Part of it is because they're judging based by mission mode, which doesnt really teach you BnBs but like the hardest stuff possible..you can get 90% of that damage for like 30% of the effort off the same starters.
una pregunta para todos los expertos... Por que goro hace el neomax con solo dos niveles y la barra verde? no se supone que para hacer neomax necesitas 3 niveles y barra verde?
I've never pick up King of Fighters and by looking at this game it looks great. I'm a big fan of fighting games as well and i might think about picking it up.
@akumous I agree. Have you seen all the people moving around in the city stage? or that Hanzo cameo at 03:31? And cameos aren´t even fixed! one minutes you will have a cave full of samurai shodown cameos and the naext round, gone. That´s some high-level eyecandy right there.
Flame has been my all time favorite, truthfully i just casually play but now I wanna get good at this game. I'm just getting into this version, so maybe I will like him. Need some help with learning the new combos and timing any tips...
I'm going to be 100% honest. I often pass over UMVC and SF4 tourney vids. Not that I dont love me some Capcom, but checking out other games, especially a true gem like KOF 13 I always watch. KOF 13 needs more love in america. It's such a good game.
We are talking about the REAL KOF player here so that was pretty much obvious that they are the celebrities of the KOF community and also the fact that they BRUTALLY beat Justin Wong is another thing that proved them celebrities in the general Fighting Community now.
@narutoxgamester I was talking about showing each other our achievements so I can see if you beat all of the trials and to show you that i beat all of them but since this arguments over there's no point. I hardly ever focus anything since i play chun.
The only way you could please a stream monster with commentary is if you replace "Saiki has an HD bypass that makes it easier to do your combo" with "OOOOF OOOOF OOOOF DAT WAS GODLIKE OOOF"
@narutoxgamester technical comes from the technique involved in playing the game at a high level. You just keep proving my point. FADC and tigerkneeing is also more technical. I've been playing Tekken since T2 and I've played melee competitively so I guess this helped me pick of these games faster. Frame data and hitboxes don't lie. You think these guys at the tourney don't know the game just because it game out 2 months ago?
Only bad thing about the commentary imo was that this was Grand Finals of the new game and they had no hype whatsoever. They were all talking about the changes and stuff and really didn't care about what was happening.
@GO4PROsrk I'm new to both games. I got AE when it first came out (my first SF game) and I got KoFXIII when it first came out (my first KoF game), and it was way easier for my to pick up KoF. I had to pick up a fightstick specifically for AE. The timing is much more strict in SF4 (1 frame links). And i'm not salty. Now i'm good at both. Right now KoF is funner to me because it's more fast paced, but when i want to play chess with fighting characters i play AE.
One of the commentators actually almost sound like Johnny Vong Bosh as Ichigo from Bleach? Just saying.. Of course the commentator definitely cannot be compared to Johnny, but man he sounded like him starting at 08:25 - 08:37. Especially when he screams :O. Anyway, great video, teamspooky!
@narutoxgamester I can tell how good I am because I kick ass at my arcade and my combo consistency. BTW KoF relies on cancels not links. There isn't as long of a startup time on moves in KoF because there's no HP or HK. Most of the links in KoF are 2 frames anyway so the timing is identical to a target combo in SF. There isn't 1 technique used in KoF that isn't in SF.
@xIO32x Plus I main Chun Li and she has to be the most tactical AND technical character of any fighting game that I've ever seen, played, or heard of. I agree KoF has more finesse cuz it looks way cooler than SF4 but the technique involved isn't near SF4's level.
@narutoxgamester Now this part is just stupid. SF definitely has more strategy involved than KoF. KoF has less options to get in for the hit confirm therefore there are less ways to counter it. The less options you have for your opponent to attack you the less strategy there is to counterattack, etc.
