Thanks for this. Trying to learn this game, and you gave me some combos for every situation. This is the perfect example why Iori is such a good anchor.
I like this vid a lot... It gives a good view of the meter system and how it's designed. Keeping in mind the GCCD and EX Moves, I found it difficult to know when to burn meter and when not to. But showing damage output in every meter situation really helps. I'm gonna try something similar to this with some of my main characters so I can find a good team since I'm still on the fence with Iori. Ya the vid's long but watching it from start to finish and focusing on just the damage helps.
It took me 2.5 hours of training mode practice to get Andy's max damage combo down. That was ONE combo, granted after i learned how to do it the combo was really easy, and i had only played kof for about a week before then.
really well put together video, the only thing im still wondering is if there is notation for most of the combos in this video in the description or something
its advised to use it because you have to be on point with your motions to get the special moves, but tbh i could do most stuff on regular xbox pad as well. it's personal preference, but imo getting used to stick is definitely worth it.
in the shop for $5 or something. He abandoned his Orochi powers previously (which is canon, btw) But, SNK saw the demand and decided to release EX Iori (with flame power) into the game.
yes, combos scale the damage the higher it goes, but it's not as bad as SF4's Damage scaling. Some damage is NOT affected by damage scaling such as the final hit of Iori's Super. It will always deal the same amount no matter if it was not combed into or if the combo counter was at 99.
@kyuubiflame I see. I tried out the demo and its a little more difficult than I thought itd be. SF is pretty fun but if have to agree its not as difficult. I've always like the characters in Kof.

Ash stole Iori's powers, so this version is more pressure orientated with greater damage output, w/o a fireball. There's EX (classic) Iori in the game too, it's a DLC on the console versions
