KOF XIV - DLC CHARACTER “NAJD” 

Congratulations to the fan who designed this character. I can only imagine the pure excitement having an oc implemented in a game like this. I hope to see her in the future and I can't wait to play her. 😁 Edit: Boy did this age well! Welcome back to the King of Fighters 15!

the designer of this character is a girl from Saudi Arabia I really happy for her and thanks for SNK...Cuz it give everyone the chance to be one of KOF Family

KOF14 continues to have the best variety of women fighters, I see.

To be honest, I'm happy to see more Arab-Archetype Characters in Fighting Games is quite pleasing, with characters like Street Fighter's Rashid, Tekken's Shaheen, and now King of Fighters's Najd, it's really great to see these sorts of fighters being presented in a positive light for everybody to use and play with, and I hope that companies try to progress with this trope along with the potential it can hold as we continue towards the future. For some trivia, her name can mean different things, a high, honorable plateau, what you decorate for your house with furniture and curtains, or a board clear road, it can also come from "an-najdaan" meaning the way of good, and the way of evil, also she controls a Djinn named "Halik" (meaning pitch black) that she uses to fight and can shape-shift, She tends to be calm most of the time because Halik takes a lot of concentration to control, and can hurt her or anyone around her if he got out of her grasp, a College Student at day, and a Hero of Justice at night, oh, and she's 21.

I'm so proud of the designer, she really did a GREAT job, Najd is very beautiful and seems powerful ! Keep going, dear designer !♡

My family originally comes from Najd which is a very old region in the Arabian peninsula, currently in Saudi Arabia.

She looks good, she fit right in KOF for a character that was created by a fan. I wonder if she's related to Krizalid or Kukri.

I love her design and backstory. Kudos to the designer. I love that SNK is also experimenting with move efx i.e. Kukri. My guess for the last character is either Duo Long as there are parts of clothing not belonging to Najd in the silloutte BUT "finger gun" gesture is Blue Mary's. Would love to see Eiji return so I can have my new Outlaw team (Blue Mary, Yamazaki, Eiji ) or Ninja Team (Andy, Banderas, Eiji)

NAJD salio de un concurso para los seguidores de The King of Fighters XIV. La competencia consistió en mandar fan art de un nuevo peleador y un escenario para el título. La convocatoria estuvo a cargo de la compañía y de Manga Productions, una editorial presente en diversos países de Medio Oriente, como Arabia Saudita, Irak, Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Omán, entre otros. SNK dio a conocer los resultados de este concurso, donde participaron más de 300 artistas y jugadores. Uno de los diseños ganadores fue el de Mashael Al-Barrak, de Arabia Saudita, quien tendrá la oportunidad de ver a su personaje Najd dentro de The King of Fighters XIV. En cuanto al escenario, la ganadora fue Zainab Al-Lawaty, de Omán. Su arena de combate es una representación de la fortaleza Masmak, ubicada en Riyadh, Arabia Saudita
