Ralf is the only character in the whole entire kof 15 roster so far that they barely showed anything of what can really do... I can't wait to show everybody how badass King Ralf the WARCHILD really is👿
@@nathadniel5790 We can all agree that 13 was a bit overboard right, although the shirtless part would still be welcome, so you win some you lose some I guess :/
@@jonathansoko1085 not a mainline game and nothing to complain about, a real MS game is in development but SNK wants to revive Kof first, why do you think we have this stage?
Why is SNK so good at making characters interesting for me to play on the trailers alone. I want to play: andy, robert, chris and clark. Characters that I never picked up that often or ever, but their design (especially andys, roberts and clarks) are super awesome and their gameplay looks super interesting and cool. Props SNK, you did an awesome job so far. PS: Clark looks AWESOME in his namecard shot!
It was nice how after 0:59 they put a close up animation of Ralf to remind you he was supposed to be getting shown off in this trailer too instead of just getting destroyed by Clark. Lol.
Nothing new about Clark and Ralph I knew they will come , honestly I was waiting for a metal slug character to shatter my expectations but here is a stage Instead and the famous metal slug prisoners . Not bad SNK ..not bad.
@@PiccoloNamexio His Gi gave the illusion that his trapezius felt bigger than what it is. I stand by my words, thanks. If you are not convinced, try imagining him without the Gi. It's not that difficult to visualize even if you're not an artist.
@@locobolo2229 True, he was DLC with Whip.. I'm guessing that'll be on a team together with a Metal Slug character (which would interesting) or my man's Adelheid 👀I'll be too fucking hyped!
It really be like that for Rumi i wouldn't even be surprised if she got lost in other games like street fighter or mortal combat actually no i hope she never gets lost her way to mortal combat
Poor Mai and Yuri... another team gets announced and they still don’t have a third person... Still, it is great to see these two in action and we kind of figured we were going to see the guys get revealed after Leona’s reveal last week. Edit: As much fun as it would be to see that third member get announced next week, it does feel like we might see K’. He is the last of the characters from the initial teaser who has yet to join the roster (and seems like we would see him and his teammates before our mysterious third member of the women’s team).
instead of showing us the characters and their moves they basically just showed some gameplay between two people and the Clark player was on much higher level!
This reveal was bit biased but it reveals lot. They definitely nailed the boys from a proportional stand point, their moves have the right amount of impact and Damn this stage is freaking great!
Now my wishes have been completed, I can finally rest knowing my faves are in, thank you SNK you Chad's I love the neo max teasing, makes one wonder more than just showing the entire move, looking forward for them in the game.
@Pokin Ryan I like old 90s action movies so I think clark steel is fucking awesome and he is a steel wall! The Clarks still is stupid. Like his name is Clark still.
Most of all : you can't have one without the other...Which is my main problem actually. You've really come up with bland and boring characters when you can't have them exists independently.
@@aleflippy1997 I mean that isn't really a fair assessment. They used to have very similar movesets and interchangable personalities in very early games but they have done a lot to differentiate them and make them distinct across the years. Some people write them off and aren't gonna care about them and that's fine, but they've been playable in every KOF and it'd still just be off not having them, or one without the other for some reason.
@@GIR177 But that's exactly my point. Gameplay-wise they are totally fine. Hell, Clark is one of my favourite grapplers in any fighting game ever. But the fact that they can't exist without one another really hinder their appeal to me. Leona stands on her own, even if she's often paired with them, and I wish it was the same for Ralf and Clark : they should be bros, but allowed to have their own stories and moments. Also also, considering the game's tagline is "shatter all expectations", being able to accurately predict most reveals isn't exactly great. If fighting game sagas proved anything, it's that nobody ever stays dead for very long... so having them sleep one game wouldn't have hurt in the long run. For sure they would have come back at another point. Because, by that logic, you could say that 30-35 characters can't sleep any KOF because they're classics. That's usually the launch roster of most fighting games. Yet change is often good.
@@aleflippy1997 I get what you're saying. I think the reason why Ralf & Clark don't have much to offer is because SNK made more money off of Metal Slug and Shock Troopers than these two arcade juggernaut fighters. What bummed me out the most is that the entire franchise went downhill after KOF 2003, because SNK ran out of ideas which is why they couldn't do tons of more sequels from KOF 2004 all the way to KOF 2021.
@@KenMasters. Yeah but Ralf and Clark are hardly "Ikari warriors" anymore, even if their team name might say otherwise. They've been in KoF games much more often than in their core series. Hence why it doesn't really excuse the fact that they're still fairly boring after so many years and games. It's okay for characters to be a bit bland within the first one or two games, as it takes time to develop a character in order to make him/her fully-fledged. Even more so when you got rosters as massive as KoF games. But considering people are claiming "you can't have a KoF game without these two", I really wonder what's their appeal. You can't have a SF game without Ryu and Ken. You can't have a Soulcalibur game without Mitsurugi and Siegfried. You can't have a Mortal Kombat game without Sub-Zero or Scorpion. But not having a KoF game without Ralf and Clark... really? You could say that about thirty characters then. Simply because they've appeared in a dozen games each. Hell, KoF:XV, contrary to what the tagline says, is actually playing really safe. Except for Chizuru's comeback, as well as Team Orochi, every character so far is your usual fare.
@@jamelbunny5732 I know what he means. Back then, all of Ralf's battle cries and way he sounded in general in the older games were very high tension. Here he sounds like he's mellowed out.
I LOOOOOOOOVE this stage. That blonde girl on the background is Rumi Aikawa; in MS she counts as a special POW. It would be so cool to also see Hyakutaro Ichimonji throwing hadoukens over there.
I believe he's the one prisoner standing in the middle, looking left and right in his idle animation (which is exactly Hyakutaro's idle animation in Metal Slug if your character stood still)
Yes, you were hoping NOT to see most of the Metal Slug cast in Stage, so there could be a possibility for them to be in the roster. Who cares about the Ikari Team really? They are♻️from last game. The only shatter here is the stage itself, even though it's not like there's never been cameos from other games not even related to the KOF universe before.
Now... Besides them both looking amazing, and the stage being one of the best things ever, i noticed there wasn't a single main character in the background, I don't want to be too hopeful but this doesn't help lol
This might be a KOF 97 Kowloon Stage situation in the sense that every time you fight there, the cameos in the background will change. So they might be applying the same thing here.
@@xWagnerPlaguesx that may be the case but usually when they do stuff like this it's shown in a trailer, even as small as just a time of day change, but who knows, maybe they're keeping a surprise
