Vice's and Angel's super are really hard to do, i mean, with Vice you need to stay so close with your opponent and then do the sequence in that moment, the problem is when the opponent do an air attack even if is a weak punch, sometimes is worth (i cannot denied) but i prefer do another moves, with Angel you need the condition but the hard part is when you need to be as fast as possible for the another sequence when the opponent hit you.
Shermie's MAX2 in the classic 2002 was lame and Chang's MAX2 was useless. At least SNK Playmore improve them. I will always respect Eolith's work. KOF was dead after the original SNK went bankrupt. Thanks to Eolith's efforts the franchise didn't die.
@@blaze6477 How? The original SNK was dead. Aruze only wanted to use the characters for their pachinko machines. Fighting games were not popular and didn't sell well during the 2000s, it was the dark age of fighting games after all. Eikichi Kawasaki loves fighting games and that's why he saved KOF, bought it and make a brand new developer (Brezzasoft) composed by ex SNK employes. With Eolith's help, they could make KOF 2001 and the series didn't die. Eolith, Brezzasoft (who later became SNK Playmore) and Kawasaki deserve respect!
1:01 *Liar Elemental* It is cute how Billy's sister (Lilly) has a similar move in KOFMI2 and MIA 1:41 *SIGURE-RANGIKU/Temporal Rain, Chaotic Chrysanthemum* It's a close ranged command throw that ends in a status effect that scrambles the opponent's directional inputs until they hit Seth or Seth them again. (Doesn't work on CPU opponents!) In the KOF MI series, that move makes more damage and in addition of changing the directional imputs, the button layout also changes!
I wonder why SNK Playmore never made an arranged soundtrack for the OST of KOF 2002. It has good remixes and original tracks. *Tears '02* *Kurikinton '02* *Seoul Ni Ikou! '02* *Beauty and the Beast '02* *Violent Fire, Lightning, Earth* *The Netherlands* *Deserted Town* *Tacos Dance* *Napolitan Trance* *Last Dance* SNK Playmore made the huge mistake of replacing the entire soundtrack when they made 2002UM :(
@@MegaShingo97 Eh... I disagree. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the soundtrack of 2002UM, there are some tracks I really like. *Antinomy Mutually Exclusive Dichotomy* and *SHINING•BRAVE!* are my favorites 👍🏼 But in my opinion. Last Dance > Unlimited R Deserted Town > Diamond Dust Tears '02 > ESAKA!! Kurikinton '02 > Sun Shine Glory Seoul Ni Ikou! '02 > Seoul Town ver. Justice Just to name a few.
2:00 *Chikara ga...katte ni...uwaaaa!!* is NOT K9999's MAX2 2:03 *Kore wa, maru de....!!* is his MAX2 For some reason they put the blue screen in the wrong Super Desperation Move.
@@conradojavier7547 Yeah, I get that but is still weird why they put the blue screen in the wrong Super. There are characters which their MAX2 don't have the blue screen after all
Fun facts about 2002: - toughest HSDM to perform is Angel's - Mature's HSDM could only be done from one side of the stage - Orochi Chris & Yashiro & Shermie HSDM could be abbreviated to much simpler commands and still work (like down, HP, HK for Chris) - Robert's HSDM is completely unblockable & invincible - In magic plus II version, Orochi Yashiro had the most damaging HSDM, but in regular version, Daimon does - Athena's full HSDM is the longest to display - Only K'9999, Choi and Vice have aerial HSDMs - Joe's HSDM does the most Chip damage, but on long range K'9999 does more - Vanessa and Chris' HSDM acts differently on close range - Orochi shermie is the only character that can inflict own damage via HSDM, being one of the only two characters that could inflict own damage together with Leona - Athena is the only character that could heal via HSDM, being one of only two characters that could heal themselves together with Kensou - Kensou is the only character with a HSDM that could give attack buff -Chin is the only Character with fully mobile projectile HSDM - May Lee and Leona are the only two characters to require Special activation before unlocking HSDM - K'9999 and Orochi team are the only characters that doesn't share the rest of the characters with the HSDM blue screen, However, the screen displays when K'9999 does his SDM - Yamazaki's HSDM does the most hits
you forgot ryo's HSDM can stun opponents and seth's HSDM is the weakest but cool move also not only Robert , orochi yashiro and K'+Whip+Chang +Rugal HSDM are unblockable too but Takuma and May Lee+yamazaki +Billy(any one has block + strike skill) can block them all except K' + Chang HSDM they're trully unblockable even when opponents using block skill= counter for them . Orochi chris n K9999 HSDM can double the hit(s) when opponents stand in right spot. Kula's HSDM only unblockable when your opponents crouch+ guard if stand+ guard= doesn't work.
@@jonytriseral8159 You can jump over Chang while he’s dancing and avoid him, same with Whip and pulling out her gun. Choi’s is completely random where the slashes come from I wrote a lot of the annotations on MightyKombat’s video on this topic, go take a look at that too :)
I prefer the OST of the original 2002 The stages were also really cool. My favorites being Mexico, Italy, Korea and China. Such a shame SNK Playmore replaced them for 2002 UM We never got an arranged version of the OST of 2002
@@meganinten0078 And not only K9999 wasn’t there, but Orochi Iori? WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED? Copy rights are one thing (dumb copyrights) but forgetting a form similar to one already there (they didn’t forget Orochi Leona technically)? The remake did not deserve the title “Unlimited” match. At least Krizalid will the feather suit was not needed since it’s the same like the two suits of Rugal in 1994.
@@WikiHL I personally like the soundtrack of vanilla 2002 It has my favorite versions of Tears, Beauty and the Beast, Seoul Ni Ikou! and Kurikinton. I also like the remixes of Diet and Violent Fire, Lightning and Earth. The original tracks are great too. The Netherlands, Deserted Town, Tacos Dance, Napolitan Trance and Last Dance being my favorites. It is a shame KOF 2002 never got an Arranged Soundtrack :( There were good tracks.
Clark in 2k2 um was much worse.. Those are level 1 supers done with lvl2 meter... Beni on the other hand can be used on combos and block weaker projectiles.
Angel legit did "the rock bottom" followed by "the people's choice" both of which are Dwayne The Rock's moves in wwe...then she said "can you taste Angel great skill" which is a reference to his famous quote "can you smell what The Rock is cooking?"
The stages in this game are great. Italy, Mexico, Korea and China being my favorites. I like how most of these have a day, sunset and night cycle. Something cool about the VS Mode is that the music will change each round depending of which character appears.
@@MegaShingo97 Yep. Fans don't realize that if it wasn't for the original 2002, 2002UM wouldn't exist in the first place. SNK Playmore improved the gameplay Eolith made. Sadly, they changed the soundtrack and stages :(
muchas de estas habilidades se han ido de la saga kof y es una lástima 😔. esto es lo que hacía el juego especial
2 года назад
actualmente estan los climax que a efectos practicos es la misma mierda. Despues de la 2002 casi todos los kof tuvieron un tipo de ataque muy poderoso. No se porque dices que se han ido
