Mikayla Simpson was only seventeen when she made her official music entry in 2017 a year later the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JARIA) declared her the best new artiste of 2017. Fast forward a few months and she had graced the most commented stages on the planet, toured with artiste like Chronixx and Protoje and most of all found a song that thrust the teenager in the forefront of Jamaica's music. A track so palatable it meets pretty much every taste bud in the space, burning dances radio just about every reggae dancehall platform in the world. The track is titled 'Toast' while she goes by the simple moniker 'Koffee'
