My take: It seems, during 2020, tanks in general hit a state of equilibrium relative to each other. If there's a deck, you've seen it; wicking scheme, etc. Airflow is about the only place left where ideas can be surfaced, and even then it's variations on established themes. That's a good position for the customer to be in. They are in the driver's seat. If "it" (it = the name of your personal favorite tank) works for you, then it does! As Richard says, "Happy days!" I spent 2020 picking up new consumer-grade RTA's - a few high-end mixed in - and try as I might, I can only be subjective about them. There are only subjective measures to be had: look, fit and finish, ease of build, airflow. Only Evolv has actually done the science involved in airflow, vapor dispersion, coil type, etc. And very few like the Reflex, which was the first result of that research - because "cost" mostly. So: If you like it, use it. No harm, no foul. Just stay off the "analogs". :)
Oddly, when I first built mine my initial reaction was that it wasn't tight enough! I usually like a 1mm hole under the coil or on the side, but this took me by surprise. Over time I've gotten used to it, but that was my initial reaction. Great flavour though. Of recent releases though, I think the Bishop pips it to the post. My new Berserker is on the way so can't comment yet!
