Wow this video is so helpful! Thanks for all tbe effort you put in to produce it. We are going to Koh phangan next year in February. Mainly for yoga. Do you happen to know if they have Grab or Gojek there? Even after a year of travelling Asia we still haven’t hired a scooter or bike because normally ordering a Grab is so easy. Maybe Island life is different though?
Yes Koh Phangan was a bit different. At the time of our visit, there wasn’t any Grab available. But there definitely are lots of Songthaew Taxis that can be arranged through your hotel or you can get one from some of the main spots. We found them a bit more pricey as there are limited transportation options they charge more than other destinations that have Grab etc. But it’s an option if you’re not comfortable on a scooter

what are the most secluded islands of thailand, pls share. we need to avoid crowds entirely but definitely need afforable accomodation with some interesting exploration and actvities
The most secluded ones are the smallest ones... only the exploration is more limited as they're so small... it's mostly relaxing (Koh Kood, Koh Lipe, Koh Yao Noi for example). We found Koh Lanta and Koh Phangan also to be peaceful, there definitely are tourists around but the roads were quiet and it felt more relaxed... there's good exploration on both of them.
