Koh Phayam - Backpackers Paradise | Andaman Islands Travel

Koh Phayam is a backpackers' favorite destination en route to Phi Phi Island and the rest of the islands surrounding the Andaman Seas. Ranong provincial town in the mainland closest to Koh Phayam is no stranger to expats retirees from many western countries who settled in this slow, rustic and affordable living cost often with local Thai spouses. Adventurous backpackers and those heading down from Bangkok to visit the different southern Thai tropical islands e.g. Phuket, Phi Phi, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, etc. will surely make a stop at Koh Phayam as part of their travel itineraries.
