I would say the Hong island tour only because phi phi can be way more crazy and crowded. Both are beautiful and phi phi is worth visiting once. If you hate crowds phi could be challenging for you. Hong island is nicer and more relaxed. Maya Beach is exquisite as is Lading Island in my opinion so hard to say
I’m headed over there in 10 days and don’t know if Koh phi phi will be too busy for my liking. I like laid back and fewer crowds. Any recommendations? What about staying on the island for 2 days at a decent hotel?
I think this time of year is the most busy - from December to February. Probably worth it if only for two days and just to see the island because it is spectacular. But be prepared for likely huge crowds!
