Join us this week as we head to the island of Koh Samui!
We were unsure if we wanted to visit the island of Koh Samui with it being one of the most popular islands to visit in all of Thailand. We found ourselves thinking is this place overhyped...?!? but we were WRONG!
We managed to discover some incredible beaches, look out points and the most impressive infinity waterfall.
So get comfy and enjoy this weeks episode! :)))
👫 About us:
Oh & we should probably introduce ourselves...
We are Benny and Meeka, a travel couple from Australia who have been travelling on and off for 10 years and even lived in the UK from 2019 - 2021.
We are currently in SE Asia and are making our way back to the UK to reunite with our Mercedes Sprinter van we purchased before the world shut down and we left back to Aus.
About 4 months ago we decided to document our travels as we make our way across the globe, so join us for the ride.

You guys are great, love your content. im off to northern thailand in june, my first time in thailand, going to bankok, kanchanburi, phitsanuloke, chiang rai ,chiang mai, hua hin just a few questions, what is the most beautiful waterfalls to visit what is the best ethical elephant sanctury to visit The most interesting thing to see in bangkok Cheapest and safest way to get about if your a single lady taxi bus train tuk tuk And is muai thai boxing show worth a visit in thailand i have a fear of snakes, coming from england who doesent live with this issue its a small concern and i here they can sometimes be found in the toilets i will be staying in hotels btw, what would one do if we are confronted with this ?

I've noticed that the audio volume on your channel seems a tad quieter compared to others. It would be fantastic if you could consider boosting it a touch. Sometimes, I find myself cranking up the volume, and it can be quite a jolt when RU-vid force me to watch 2 ads in a row.

@@bennyandmeeka Just throw away guide books and go on a search. look at the map after a cool "empty" place and go.. But it is getting harder and harder, Myanmar (Burma) surley have some sweet spots, not been yet myself but i lived 6 years at Koh Phayam Thailand and its only 20 min to Myanmar from there so i know some stuff

We asked at the property for permission and also have a drone permit 🤗

I'm not trying to steal ur thunder or be a smart arse, I live in Nakhon Sawan and I also ask permission to fly my drone near temples etc,, but most of the time the laws are not enforced but Samui is different,,, so you were lucky. ..... So you may have a licensed drone but you are unable to fly it legally in the areas specified. Even if you are in an area where you are allowed to fly a drone the restrictions are quite extensive including the requirement to have insurance of Baht 1 Million, carry a fire extinguisher and a ban on flying over cities, villages and communities where there are people. Penalties for non-compliance are quite severe with up to 5 years in jail and a fine of up to Baht 100,000.

Thanks so much ✨ for legal purposes yes you need a international license but in the 4 months we spent there we got pulled over once. Hope this helps ☺️😅
