Hi welcome to my Koh Si Chang To Bangkok Travel Day And Accommodation. Today i take the ferry from the beautiful Koh Si Chang Island to Sriracha and then the travel day continues on the two hour bus ride to the Bus Station in Bangkok. Once i arrive in Bangkok ill show you my budget accommodation.

Love the videos Richy, keep going pal. I told you my son was out there watching the footie in Bangkok. April 30th his best friend since nippers went to bed and never woke up, 24! He came home for the funeral but after talking to him and him watching more of you, l got him back out there. He's on Pub St for a few days watching the Euros, then it's Vietnam then Laos. Only one life and it can be very short.....

Morning, Richy! Well, that was a good tip from the taxi motorbike, and save you missing your ride. I was hoping he wasn't scamming you. Riding into that oncoming traffic on the bridge was a bit scary though on camera. A great trip across the bay, but I can't believe the big bus is late again 😆 thai time!! Is it still hot there? Looks a little cooler with the cloud cover. Good to see you back in Bangkok from the regions and islands. Wow that's a stinger from that insect! Glad you made it through, and your face didn't swell up. "No Durian" sign on escalator onto MRT - that fruit must really stink so badly!! Hope the recovery is still going strong for you and you feel back to near 100%. Have a great day!

Hi Greg, it was a really nice travel day as always with the expected Thai time delays🤣. It’s in between 30-35 degrees at the minute, it will start to get cooler when the rainy season kicks in. Durian is known as the most stinky fruit and apparently it takes a lot to remove the smell, I still haven’t tried it yet. My recovery is going very well thanks mate💯👍🏻

Hey Ricky, just subscribed never been here looks nice, can I suggest something I found out sometime ago , it depends if it bothers you when you are editing your video and putting clips together take a second of the clip you are putting together and you will get rid of that click noise

Interesting using the different pier. I've been twice always used the one you came in on. Maybe they are working on the other one Question: Why do you call the place the boat dock on the main land, Sichang ? It's Siracha. You should pay the island another visit. You missed so much out. I should have waited until you got off the boat. Haha

Ha yeah for some reason I had it in my head the mainland side was Sichang. I soon realised when I got off, I will definitely be returning at some point but this was just time to relax.

Lived in Trat for 2 years (lived siam for 7years) love the place. Wish i knew u were there I would have told u some hidden spots. Believe it or not the beaches are better in Trat (in rhe boonies of Trat). Would always head to Koh Chang & other idland for party. Unfortunately the water visibility is often not good for diving but other than that its a frkn gold mine to stay. Next time stay in Trat and go on bike rides via google maps to some of the off road beaches. Thanks for your videos.

To memory.... there are not two different destination and exit points for the ferry. there are however two major Ferry companies.... i think rhat may have been the issue. There are also private boats that can take u all hours if you have a few connects/lingo

Theres always shipping there... as its one of rhe Thai major Military Naval bases nearby. Your 100% righr the street food on KohChang is not good. Bwcause rhe actual Thai ppl use a market In the inland away from Tourists on the island or rhey commute from Muang Trat where the food is excelent. yep! u got it right again. SiRacha is a cool place to live. I used to live on the edge of Chonburi (near Ninja Market) would love riding to SiRacha and Baeng Saen. Choice places to live in Thailand. Close to everything (bkk chonburi pats Chachoengsao etc). cheap like Essaen (almost) and got beach. you know those prices for socks are just 'sugestions' 😅 right?

Also there is horrifically an epstein island not far from Koh Chang... the rich fly in on planes... it has an airfield and is protected by the Naval base. Its also ambiguous as to wether its khmer or Thai... wwhen it comes to Disgusting rhings rhey blame it on Khmer but its not... its Thai. Its well known to the locals and you will be most likely intercepted by coast guard should you try and land a boat there. Some serious Epstein bad shiz going down there.

I like the travel days! I should move from Bangkok to Hua hin today but im stuck with an infection . Go to hospital in Bangkok, get antibiotics . Hospital had very lovely people there. And move on tomorow or the day after to Hua hin.Very nice accommodation🥰 I loved the little island where you stayed on😊 Safe travels!

You should never get medication from hospitals. Find out the name of medication needed and get it from a pharmacy. Hospitals overcharge by fortunes.

That was a good travel day. Im the same as you since i had pneumonia tired all the time, im taking my time building myself back up you will get there. Im off to Kos next week desperately need to get away and get some sun. Good vlog 😊

One thing I learned watching a million vlogs and making small talk with Thais is that Suvarnabhumi is pronounced "Suhwannapoom." Why? Supposedly Sanskrit origin. I bristle at the "silent I" sound that isn't indicated in the Thai script, but I guess it's just one of those 'it is what it is" words.

Hi Noel, it was ok mate. Two eggs fried or scrambled, two slices of homemade bread, one bacon/ham (not that bad) and a little bit of prepared fruit with a cuppa and little croissant. Good for the price of accommodation to be fair.

Ritchie how much on average do you spend a week including food digs travel etc I enjoy the basic stuff like you just a clean room over my head some where to shower and change and get me head down and enjoy eating street food just I have never travelled that way in Thailand. I always hire private taxi to take me places and I always book 3 star hotels. Probs spend about £3000 in a month Was just wondering if I lived cheap accommodation trains and busses places how long I could actully stay out there with 3 grand instead of a monthly

Nice hotel. Not my preferred area in Bangkok but decent price. However, I still use Hualamphong for the 261 train to Hua Hin. 44 baht!!

@@petratuin6374 Leaves at 9.20am & arrives in Hua Hin at 1.50pm. Not too early or too late. And Hualamphong easy to reach on MRT. Also avoids going in a minivan or bus from Southern Bus Terminal which is very hard/lengthy to reach.

I enjoy your vids but Thailand Thailand Thailand Join me as i set off on a never ending adventure. I'm escaping the hamster wheel of the west, I'm getting to old to keep peddling to pay the bills for the odd holiday here and there, only to return and peddle harder to make up for it. Be a fly on the wall and see the raw footage of costs, accommodation, people, markets, the culture and of course the street food as i make my way through as many countries as possible. When is this coming as i make my way through as many countries as possible.
