You know, you can be body positive and still positively talk about weight loss. Changing our weights and sizes doesnt mean we hate ourselves. Loving it at every size is surely a positive thing too.

It might be, at least in part, because she tends to get such a visceral reaction in the comments any time she talks about weight loss. A while back, some people got very upset at her for talking about wanting to make some changes in her own life, to her own body. They shouldn't have projected their insecurities onto her (or anyone else), but they did, so now she seems to tread lightly when it comes to that topic.

Anna, l totally felt you on this haul. Like you said, it's not about losing weight or being skinny. It's seeing things you thought you couldn't do, come to pass. Then right behind it, 5 things come and knock you down. Like l say, One day at a time. That's all we have. 😊

I am so with you on this dang tiered dresses trend. I hate the tiers. Even if they don't hit at the hip in an awkward spot, they just interfere with the flow of the skirt and feel restrictive. That is one trend that can kick rocks.

You can totally celebrate weight loss! It's become so taboo to talk about in recent times but it doesn't need to be, sometimes losing weight is necessary and is the most 'body positive' thing we can do for ourselves. You shouldn't have to shy away from being proud of it!

Thank you for the pep talk at the end. I happened to need it today. You are so on point with "the world doesn't make it any easier". Since I was in my 20's.. I've been mistaken for pregnant many times! I was born with a pooch stomach no matter what weight I am. Funny story though. I've gotten sassy in my old age.. and about a year ago.. I was reaching the top shelf in the dairy aisle of the grocery store when a man offered to help me since "I was pregnant". I started laughing and said, "Sir.. you just made my day because I'm in menopause and it's impossible for me to have a baby.. so thank you for thinking I'm young enough". He turned red and probably won't do that again. Moral.. never assume you know anything. (rant over lol)

G'day Anna, I'm sorry you had a bad day, and I'm also glad you bounced back from it 😊 All of the dresses you showed were lovely, but I think my faves were the white Broderie Anglais, and the lemon print wrap. I did like the style of the russet coloured Dobby cotton, but I too have the problem of bum and thigh expansion,,, plus being a wheelie, sometimes anything that's button through can gape at the buttons, and usually in the wrong place 😏 Thank you for being the you that you are. I look forward to your next videos and I'm really enjoying your travel videos, passing on some great information for those of us that are less travelled 😃 🙃🐨🇦🇺

Anna, you are doing a great job, I’m very proud of you. I totally understand the vacillating emotions, I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis as well. This disease can be very disheartening. Our bodies can change overnight and something that fit yesterday looks two sizes to small today. The best thing that one can do with this cursed issue is to learn as much as you can about it. Knowledge is power. You are beautiful, smart and humor is your super power. Hang in there, it will get easier. ❤❤❤

I discovered your videos a few days ago and have been watching them everyday. Your outlook is contagious. I had WLS 2 years ago and it's so true what you say about being aware of sizes. Our worth is not placed in what size we are. It can be so emotionally exhausting having to navigate the world of shopping and constantly having to associating our worth to a size. I so felt your angst with this haul, I’m having the same issues with my body changing as well, smaller means being able to move and clothing inclusivity for me but just because I hit a goal, it doesn’t always look like I thought it wanted to.
