Easy fix to a discontinued brass Kohler shower valve. New valve kit was easily installed. I found out the old trim kit still worked with the new valve so I’ll be returning the new kit I purchased.
Thanks for posting. I have the Kohler K-304 valve, and have had to replace the GP876851 twice already. The problem we keep having is that the valve seems to stop adjusting temperature once it's warmed up. It becomes unable to be turned up or down in small increments. So far Kohler has been great about sending me free replacements (lifetime warranty). But I wish I knew why they keep failing every 3 years or so. :-(
