Kohler Starter Bendix Gear Rebuild Kit 

A quick video on a stuck gear on a Kohler starter and how to replace it.
I used a Dremel with cutting wheel to cut through the retaining ring and the hog ring to be able to remove the gears and other parts.
I used a screw driver and Dykes/Kleins to open up the hog ring to fit over the shaft, but there is a proper tool to do it. You can see the correct tool in Don's video here.
