louistik what does triple hand technique mean? I have seen a lot of people mentioning it in their comments and I suppose it's that it sounds as if there is a third hand? But can you give me an example? I didn't quite catch on when he used it.
Lage Linusson Well for example, if you watch the first 20 seconds of this cover, he's playing the bass+the main melody with his left hand, while playing an additionnal voice with his right hand (here, he's playing some repeated chords); sometimes, we can even talk about 4 or 5 hands techniques (there is a 5 hands technique in Animenz's arrangement of Ninelie, like he said himself), it depends on the number of different voices which are played at the same time (It's called extra/multi voicing)! Was it clear or not? Don't hesitate to ask some precisions if I wasn't clear enough! :)
