Greats The Royal leather sneakers quality drops like no tomorrow. Bought a pair 2 months ago, and no way like the quality of just 2yrs ago. Every part of the material feels different Feel so Cheap. Still labeled as "Made In Italy" but don't expect anything good.
My 2017 all white Royale's do have the Margom sole, however the new 2020 gray Royale's that I got today, do not have the Margom soles anymore. Greats stopped using Margom soles.
Yeah, they stopped using the Margom soles, but I get it---they're keeping their sneaker at the lowest price in the category. And between my Oliver Cabells (with Margom sole) and GREATS (no Margom), I haven't noticed a significant difference in the sole quality. Thanks for watching!
You got me sold on the Beckett Simonon Reids. What’s your size with the Reid and what’s your size with the Greats Royale? I am a size 9.5 with the Royale. These are awesome shoes but it’s scary to order online without being sure about the sizing :-)
Hey, Kila, if you're a 9.5 with the Royale, I'd probably step up to a 10 in the Reid. I'm a 10.5 in all my sneakers, but I'm a 10 with the Royale. Thanks for watching, and definitely let me know when you pick those Reids up!!
I do, yes. They're taller than Greats and Koio---the sole is maybe an inch and a half tall. So they're a bit funkier than the other shoes on this list. If you like that look--the quality is superb and the leather is really soft and beautiful right out of the box-- no break in needed. Thanks for watching!
I would order GREATS in your standard size. They always recommend sizing down by half, but since you have wide feet, go true to size. Should fit like a glove...er...shoe
