Great dating story. U both are correct in every aspect. Yes, he learned for his past and now was being upfront and honest with what he wants and expects, and who is is. Being upfront about things are better than making mistakes. If you don’t like what u see, it’s okay to end it. No hard feelings for both parties because you both are only looking for whoever fits ur needs, wants, and like. Also, relationship is about adapting and changing or improving for the better. If yas don’t want to put in all that work and feels it’s too much of a burden, it’s okay to say no and be friends. He is not disrespecting you and you are not disrespecting him. Perfect title 😅. There’s no rules or regulations for living such a static, predictable, upscale (etiquette), OCD, uptight, strict life. Yes, there are standards to live well, healthy, cleanly but most important happy and not stressed about the little things as none of those matter. We’ll never reflect back on life and say, wow I’m so proud of the way my house was so clean, I controlled all the situations in my life and made everyone around me miserable so I’m all alone but my floors are spotless and my dishes are done. I have nothing against divorced men and women, but it’s important to know the history of their divorce(s).
