@@Kayanamae It really depends on how sensitive your skin is. Personally, I use it about three times a week and leave it on while I’m in the shower for about three minutes. Please don’t leave it on if it is making your skin uncomfortable to avoid skin burns. Also, I use it for a period of about three months and then take a one month break in between to allow my skin to adjust itself for a bit. Best of luck 😊
Ive been using kojic soap on my butt for 2 weeks now, I've seen significant result. I don't leave it on for too long and already noticing great improvement on the color of my butt.
You don’t have to take a break. Kojic acid is not like hydroquinone. It won’t harm your skin in the same way. The worse that may happen is contact dermatitis.
I just want to add that the 65g and 100g bars do not come with stamps (as you’ve stated in the video) but the 165g bar does come with a kojie san stamp! This is stated on there website.. so if you have the big bar and it has a stamp don’t freak out it’s not fake!
Let me be the first to say Kojie acid soap do indeed works, I used it back in high school, and had to stop for a while because people was telling me how my face was literally light, and it was funny cause I am already fair skin black, but to see that my face was very pale looking, made me look white in the face😂😂😂

I always mildly exfoliate my face in the shower before I apply the soap to maximize skin penetration, then I leave it on while I do the rest of my body with regular soap. I like that it is soft because it is easy to work up a lather, even with a small sliver. Just keep it dry in between uses.
So glad I found your channel. I myself struggle from hyperpigmentation from eczema. Because I'm brown skin, obviously I am more prone. The hyperpigmentation on my legs is what I am struggling the most with. Is this soap suitable for the body as well as the face, hands, arms etc ?
@@trevorsheehan1757 are you asking me or the person who made this video? i don’t know the answer, but i personally wouldn’t risk it. if you accidentally got it in your eye, rinse it out and then call an eye doctor.
Sorry about the delayed response, it took me two summers to get my arm back to normal. I say summers because I only use the soap during summer because it is so drying. About 6 months for my knuckles, hope this helps ☺️
Hi, thank you for this amazing video ❤ BTW I had always been insecure of my hands cause of the knuckle hyperpigmentation, I have yellow - fairish skin tone and the hyperpigmentation stands out a lot on me :/ Also my nail tech over the years damaged my cuticle and it looks soo dark around my nails cause of all the trauma My mental health is just deteriorating day by day, do you think Koji San can help me out with my situation?
I saw a video that indicates that it is not recommended to use it for more than 30 seconds, is it true or can it be used for minutes and give the same result?
I have a lot of dark spots on my face I want to clear up and I do get hyperpigmentation on the back of my knees from eczema but my face is m bigger issue. I ordered the soap, The ordinary, and almond oil. I’ll be picking up some sunscreen and the healing ointment. How many days a week should I use the soap and the ordinary? And would I use them on the same day?
The advice that’s given around using this soap is very concerning. You say use it for 3-5mins but the packaging says to only let stay on your skin for 30-60sec. Also the packaging labels won’t necessarily determine if it’s fake or not unfortunately.
Do not run your Koji under the water that is why it goes quickly just take ONE wet hand rub across the soap twice and you will have a big lather God willing. I make soap and I trll my customers the very same thing to cut it and do not run under water and after use put on a soap saver
Kojic acid is a WHITENING ingredient (hence the geisha on it 😂) which is why when you use it, you should make sure it’s on areas that you’re trying to lighten and not on parts of you that you want to remain the same
It will definitely lighten your face, I used it in high school, and I went from having my face lightly melanated, to straight loooking white. It works, but it will lighten you up completely

after results you will need to keep using it, just not as regularly, only a couple of times a week. always remember to use sunscreen to maintain your resluts.

I have hyperpigmentation on my legs from eczema and iv used the soap and yes it worked but gave me terrible stretchmarks even while using a good moisturizer. Also made my sking so sensitive so I stopped using it and within about 2 months the darks were back.😔
