I love all of Kokia's songs, they all have very deep meanings, in my opinion she conveys the meanings super well in the composition of the music as well! I can understand most the japanese, but I sometimes find myself crying to her songs before I even know the lyrics lol
Her songs make me miss my ex wife. She was an amazing Japanese woman and, to be honest, a spectacular wife. We would listen to Kokia while making dinner etc. Unfortunately, we couldn't work things out. I hope she is happier than ever and doing well.

This song expressed how broken and scarred Rygart is. He fought in a war that he shouldn't be in the first choice. He had a choice to turn his back at his friends, yet he accepted the blade and became the vanguard for their survival, all while knowing he had to fight another friend. It took to a worse turn when Borcuse came in, and to a worser turn when Girghe died for him. He was still aware that he was gonna fight Zes in the future. Rygart finally snaps when he saw Regarz leave, with Sigyn and Hodr's solemn face of silence. They knew and was fully aware of Rygart's mentality will take a turn for something even more worse. TLDR Rygart's just going through PTSD from War he's not meant to take part of.

I remember seeing the original OVA´s ( which btw are way better ) and at the end of the last OVA...this song sets in...as the protagonists little brother walks away crying and Rygart just laughs maniacally. It hit my feelings real hard...I just sat there, listening to this song, reading the lyrics and for some reason I cried. This show is a masterpiece in its own regard.
