Kol has died on 3 occasions. First time was as a witch (when he was made a vampire) 2nd time was as an original vampire. 3rd time was as a witch. For the 3rd time (where you saw him crying with blood in his mouth) it’s a lot to explain tbh but basically one of his brothers, Finn, put a hex on him, killing him in a few days time and not allowing him to body jump anymore. As you see though his gf brought him back AGAIN as a vampire 😭 Interesting thing with all the mikaelson kids (besides Klaus) is that they were all born witches and then made into vampires by their mother.

Kol is a legend

He died when his brother Finn trapped him inside of a witch body when Finn made that spell it created some sort of illness and the he died
