I loved this video for a lot of reasons. The way this video was shot, the editing, the environment and the "no overexcited vlogger giving reviews" vibe. It allowed for a change of pace from the regular food vlogging content YT majorly has nowadays. Also, I noticed the broth was very lightly seasoned and full of vegetables. Overall, a good breakfast in my opinion which gives you a fresh start for the day. And I am thankful to the cooks that still make these type of dishes without resorting to cheese, mayo,etc and also the youth for gladly enjoying the dish as it is.

Thanks for the video. Much appreciated. What appealed to me was food served in porcelain dishes and the care with which the hotelier served the food. I am amazed at the hard work of preserving the cutlery when today sadly most of the joints serve in paper or plastic plates even in restaurants. This was such a wonderful gesture to the guests by the host. May the owner be blessed with all success and prosperity.

When I visited Kolkata my friend took me to a place like this near the Kalighat metro station. It was absolutely delicious. Simple omelette, buttered toast, and strong black tea. I miss that so much. Hopefully I can visit again soon.

Calcutta street food is cheaper then other states..towns. In winter Duck Eggs are served..Desi Eggs dishes are served entire year..

আগে তাও একটা করে আলুর পিস থাকতো, এখন সেইটাও নেই, আগে দামটাও কম ছিল only 60/- আর এখন 100/- আগে তাও দু - তিনটে bean's বেশি পাওয়া যেতো এখন গুনে গুনে একটা লিকলিকে মার্কা bean's এর টুকরো। যবে থেকে একটু একটু করে বেশ নাম হয়ে গেছে মানটাও শেষ। আর এইসব ভিডিও দেখিয়ে কি হবে?

My father spent his almost hole life in Calcutta then migrated to Eat Pakistan now(Bangladesh) , I heard a lot about the city of joy Calcutta, he used to run a shoe store there( Beauty shoes) at Darhamtalla street in 1930s and 40s.

There should be strict laws against unhygienic practices on handling food. Kitna Ganda dikh Raha hai bhai wo? While it looks delicious, I cannot overlook the fact that it's unhygienic. And I will not entertain poverty as a reason for unhygienic practices. India badalna chahiye.

At 5 am I do not know. But at one point time I used to go to office in morning 6:30 am with lots of unhappiness, half bathed somehow managing to go out of home . But even at that time lady office goers were on road waiting for bus or other commutation well dressed up, well maintained. I wondered how they manage it

All else is fine but the shop can be cleaned thoroughly and can be then rearranged properly. Some bleaching powder can be sprinkled over the washing area. The localites can encourage the owner for this.
