Thankyou so much Max and Chris Sir for being at our hotel and for this video as well. And thanks a lot to all of you for appreciating my work, will try to be better. Hope to see you all soon at the Oberoi Grand.
Love your videos. But Shhit bro Waste of money to taj, that money goes to Dubai. Go to ooty or corg and 2 weeks you will use the same money u used for a day in Taj but i know u did this to test out shit. But we love your local videos. Road side shit bro.
The young man named Faiz is sharp as a tick. Very professional while also being charismatic. Lovely gentleman. And the Oberoi manager as well do warm and pretty. They hire the best of the best no doubt.
The kid from the second video - is super respectful, and the desk staff from the hotel - is a great hire (he is just 22 and ridiculously professional. I can see him earning more than a hundred grand easily here in North America in a high-end hotel) And the kid, hitting the millions because of a pure heart
@@dumducky7244 happy to see people like you Manu .. my wife was watching this vlog and cooking food , but she came to me in between to show your interaction with them .. good human you are .. have a great future ahead .. 👍
@@dakshpatil8201 featured ughh i won't say as i was also exploring, just say , we bumped and had a long convo.. I was in Kolkata for wbjee and also to explore.
I’m from NE but you’ll enjoy a lot in Kolkata.. they are friendly people comparing to the North India.. their foods are amazing as well. Lots of delicacy.
He kept the name of the city he hails from flying high. Lucknow is known for it's hospitality. Believe me, it's is coming from a Kolkata Bengali, who are themselves considered a very hospitable bunch. 😊
@@user-vx5ie8vr9v yes the hospitality is on next level even osama bin laden enjoyed it 😂😂 and that’s the most famous personality pakistan has ever hosted 😂😂
@@Neymar4080 : WELL, YOU AIN'T WRONG ABOUT THAT ONE EITHER ACTUALLY! LOLS 😂 .. BUT THEN AGAIN, MAYBE JUS SOME MIGHT BE ORIGINAL ENOUGH TO BREAK THAT MOLD! LOLS.. 😆😆😂🤣 PERHAPS!!! 😝😆
I agree he was very professional. Great service at that hotel! Top notch. Faiz had a good rapport with them, he was friendly and helpful. I saw a video of another blogger but these guys are the best. They are funny, kind and awesome. Chris and Max are the best.
@@TheTushar.Ssorry to say that you are wrong. He is doing. You want to let people work who will just keep quiet when the customer ask . That seems more weird to me
Indians are so welcoming, they make Max look like a Hollywood superstar! That hotel is really beautiful and the service from the staff is impressive! The dessert plate with Max's photo is really thoughtful. I believe such a great service quality will attract many loyal customers! The lady who served breakfast is very elegant and awesome! Thank you very much Max for bringing such a special video! 👍🤩🙏
gianni: ull get the same treatment if u also pay them, thats 5 star service for u, its same everywhere, its all about money dude, nothing special about max, india or this hotel here, money talks
@sahilgakhar5013 No need to be jealous, take your money, go to that hotel, shoot a video like Max, let's see what happens! I believe the result will be different, believe it or not!
Mishti Doi is sweet yogurt. Its a special dessert of Bengal. The top layer, which you thought was the icing, is actually what we fight to have the most 😂
That man in the staff spent so much time n effort being nice to max n Chris explaining everything in detail and max still put thumbnail of the girl with whom he had 2 min conversation. Men will be Men 😂😂
The lady who takes care of marketing and communication just blew me away... her aura and the way she spoke with max is commendable... Thankyou max for showing all shades of INDIA ❤
I liked the guy's speaking skills better. He felt more natural. edit: after watching the full video, yes the guy (Faiz) was far more fluent and interactive than the girl.
Fayiz is out of this world. Profession, friendly, body language, man he has just marketed him self globally. Well he is already working in the most expensive luxury hotel. Hope they take care of him and reward him for his outstanding skills.
You and Chris have travelled more places in India than most Indians Max! No wonder people call you guys Desi at this point, really fun to see you guys explore India!!
Max and Chris don't need a tourist guide , you don't understand our Bengali language but you make friends with your smile🔥😀❣️.I hope you will come to see our Durga Puja in the month of October🚩❤.I also want to explore all the places like you.😊💯 Love you brothers from Kolkata ❤❤❤
In South India, people make egg dosa (mostly homemade), which is they break the egg while the dosa is cooking and the egg cooks together with the dosa 😄 Its nice to see your creativity Max! ❤️
Wow 😮I am blown by the top notch service . Unfortunately people in my country are lazy, entitled and take their jobs for granted . I ❤ Max he has the best friendly wallet in the world , never afraid to be super kind to strangers .
Max, you and Chris are so good in this video. Loved seeing Kolkatta. Have not been there for over 25 years now. Nice to see Faiz as well. He is such a kind gentleman.
Being nice to people who works in the service industry like Max does is really the best way to get the best possible service in return. I have worked in the service industry and you really do pay extra service and attention to the people who are really nice to you.
Guys, just like your earlier assessment of a sweet dish ( i think it was kalakand ) - the dosa also tastes better and crispier when cooked till it turns tan. This can be usually requested in India at most breakfast places.
Oberoi chain is actually the number 1 luxury chain in India - better than Taj. The founder told his son when he had graduated to travel the world and stay in the best hotels. When he came back - he knew exactly what to do with the hotels back home to make them the best!
One of the biggest festival of India called Rath Yatra is going to be held at Puri Jagannath in Odisha starting from June 20. Come to the capital city of Odisha which is my hometown Bhubaneswar which is 50-60 km away from Puri. Bhubaneswar is called the temple city of India. Both the cities Bhubaneswar and Puri have luxurious hotels too. You both are cordially invited.🙏❤️
I'm Hyderabadi so I might not get the etymology right but Misti Doi is basically thickened yoghurt and sugar. Doi is yoghurt/curd in a local language, I don't remember which tho
you are absolutely correct , but in Kolkata Mishti Doi is slight brown in color, due to caramalisation of heavy milk..Mishti means sweet and Doi is Yoghurt...kolkata is famous for its Mishti Doi abd of coz other sweets..in Nabadip you can get Kheer Doi...here the milk is condensed and then turned into yoghurt...
Max..i really enjoyed the funny expressions and slang used by you and chris during the breakfast session in the hotel restsurant. It was really fun and enjoyable watching both of you cracking up jokes. Max n Chris are one hell of a good tag team. Keep it up guys. 😂
@DailyMax I left Calcutta in 1989 (used to live at 20/1 Camac St) We were regulars at Grand Hotel- I miss Cal v much and only been back twice I wish one day thru youtube to see my old building in the lane next yo the mosque at Camac St, the cakes at Kookie Jar The rolls at Nizams the chinese food in Tangra and the classic continental dinners at Mocambo and Trincas If you are still in Calcutta try those places Max Calcutta was the British capital and has culinary influences that are Portuguese, Jewish, British and Dutch along w Hakka Chinese
Max I have recently started watching your videos!I want to give compliments to you, you are a very down to earth person, very humble ,very kindhearted and well-mannered person!Stay blessed
we love these two...Give then indian citizen. who promote indian food more than they do??? right now i am loving them more than the bollywood celebrities.
You are actually having a taste of old British India, as they have kept this vibe alive. And Kolkata was the British capital in the colonial British India.
I think one of the best moments is when Max meets his followers like stumble on them while walking on the streets :D It's a sweet surprise for both the sides.
The hotel charges ₹20,000 per night, while the employees are being paid a significantly lower amount, starting from ₹10,000 in 30 days for 12-hour workday.
With diploma and degree, lowest associate level salary starts with 16k to 25k, duty managers earning 40 k to 50 k, AFOM earns 80k to 100k plus and Front office manager earns 120 k to 160k per month. General Manager earns 5 lakhs to 8 Lakhs per month. FYI, I am a Front Office Manager. If you are cleaner or caretaker of flowers with third party involved, you will get 10k and that is still fine.
@@vianiexplore123 lol 😂 Are you dreaming?? . I'm still working as FOM and paid less than 25k and you are talking about lakhs? I don't think you're working in reality you're working in your dreams created by you🤣😂
@@iamX3M 25 k is for associates, bhaya😅 Are you working in 5 star or dhaba?! I myself is a Front Office Manager in Oberoi. When I was AFOM, I was getting 100k per month. You clearly don't know anything about salary level and hierarchy. Sad
@@iamX3M My junior associates are earning 16 to 25 k with accommodation. Don't spoil the name of Oberoi. FOM earning 25 k is the biggest jokes and insult to Oberoi.
@@vianiexplore123 Seriously! If the compensation for hotel industry workers is as substantial as it is rumored to be, one might expect them to enjoy a high standard of living, such as owning a luxury car or even running their own establishment. Furthermore, if the monthly earnings exceed what doctors and engineers make, it might be logical for them to consider transitioning to the hotel industry. However, the reality of the situation seems quite different. Many hotel employees rely on public transportation, have access to complimentary meals in the hotel cafeteria, and begin their day early in the morning to ensure they are presentable in their uniforms. They promptly attend briefing sessions, maintain a well-groomed appearance, and make an effort to constantly smile at both their superiors and guests. These are the day-to-day realities that hotel workers often experience and please don't get offended ☺️
Hey max, recently started watching your videos man and I absolutely loved em all. Your vibe is amazing and your humility makes you stand out from the rest! Im from Chandigarh, Punjab. I'm happy that you both are getting more and more recognition. You both make amazing videos and have shown good side of our Country. Lots of love and support to you guys.
I spent 5 days at the oberoi grand in kolkutta and loved it, such a beautiful hotel and so much history, although my room was a lot bigger than yours and seemed newer. It had good finishings and looked newly renovated
We ended up eating all our meals in the hotel and it was amazing, breakfast was sensational I actually preferred it to Atlantic and burj in Dubai, in terms of how amazing it was and they couldn’t do enough for me at the oberoi, anything you want the chef would try and accommodate ie I asked if they had gujjar halwa and pani puri and next day (my final day in India) they surprised me and brought it out at dinner / it wasn’t even charged to our bill
@@arkamukhopadhyay9111 Yes, I know that. But if you have watched the video then you would have known that they were using British accent as a joke to sound like an elite person.
