Traveling from Kolkata to Rajasthan by car can be an exciting road trip, covering a vast distance and allowing you to experience the diverse landscapes of India. Here's a general route you can follow, but keep in mind that road conditions and traffic can vary, so it's essential to plan and check for any updates before your journey.
You'll have to cross 5 states to Bhangarh or Jaipur in Rajasthan: West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, UP, and Rajasthan.
Route:
Kolkata to Rajasthan via NH19 and NH44
Kolkata to Dhanbad:
Start your journey from Kolkata and head west on NH19.
Drive through cities like Asansol and Durgapur.
Reach Dhanbad, which is approximately 250 km from Kolkata.
Dhanbad to Varanasi:
Continue on NH19, passing through regions like Chas and Koderma.
Cross the state border and enter Uttar Pradesh.
Reach Varanasi, which is about 400 km from Dhanbad.
