We went from Kolkata to Siliguri in our Ford Ecosport car, and this video shows the road we have taken, the road conditions, time taken etc. Also, now the time taken is much less than before as the Baharampur Bypass is now fully open. I have shown the excellent road conditions of the Baharampur Bypass, Malda Bypass, Dalkhola Bypass, Domohona Bypass and Islampur Bypass. This video will be of very good help for people travelling to Siliguri, or Sikkim, or North Bengal from Kolkata by road. This also shows where people can have good lunch on the way. We had lunch at Pardesi Dhaba at Malda Bypass. We stayed at the Mainak Tourism Property, earlier Mainak Tourist Lodge, the room of which is also shown in this video. I rode with family from Kolkata to Siliguri in 12 hours straight on 23 March 2024. Road is quite well now except for some patches ...

While going to Siliguri I was not sure if the condition of this road was good. However, while coming back I took this road. It was in excellent condition.

দাদা সুপ্রভাত। আপনি বারাসাত আমডাঙ্গা জাগুলী হয়ে যেতে পারতেন। এখন এই রাস্তাটা খুব ভালো। আর একটা route হলো কল্যাণী হাইওয়ে কাঁচড়াপাড়া কাঁপা জাগুলি হয়ে। এই দুটো রাস্তা আমার মনে হয় বেটার। আমি এই দুটো রাস্তা দিয়ে প্রায় বহরমপুর যাই।

West Bengal police is one of the worst I had seen...why they put barricade in National Highway is beyond by compreshion...they keep it for hafta wasulie I assume....state highway if u go it is pathetic ....Momina Begum and communist make this state one of the most under developed...minus kolkata...asansol...siliguri ...mostly other places are quite neglected....

fully agree, the north bengal area is a complete mess - i drove to darjeeling siliguri last year, from krishnanagore to islampur literally you will not find any hindu, 99% are minorities and the they treat the NH like slums..people coming suddenly on the road, 1000s of totos plying on NH even though its banned, Momina s govt needs to be kicked out to make WB livable.

Soumya, তুমি যে দিন ট্রিপ করেছিলে, মোগরা-কলনা হয়ে যাওয়ার দরকার ছিল না। ভোরে গেলে সোজা বারাসত হয়ে জাগুলিয়া মোড় গেলেই সুপার রোড পাওয়া যাবে। সমস্ত ফ্লাইওভার হয়ে গেছে।
